Kennedy has acknowledged he is taking a chance after many many days of daily prayer. He has as you saw and heard decided his love of children and desire to protect their health  at  the USA  has made him take this chance,  for now. That may be the decide for me as well. I'm just not there yet.

I have no trust on Trump, none. And can't go Harris. What I can do is praise my Lord and savior Jesus and lean into the hope certain that is his gospel message.

That's just it, isn't it? We are subjects for the Kingdom of God over which the Lord Yeeshuwa` shall preside as its HUMAN King, when He returns. Contrary to popular rhetoric, we don't "fly off to Heaven" when we die. Instead, we await our Resurrection at His Coming! Immediately, we shall be PUT TO WORK! We will either help Him to reign over parts of His Kingdom, OR we will be put in His "military" as He expands His Kingdom into all parts of the earth. Maybe, we'll be both! We won't be FIGHTING in His "military"; we'll be the HEALERS of those who shall be turning to Him on the fields of battle.

All the same, it will TAKE TIME to win the world to Him, and He shall reign over them with "a rod of iron," as they submit to His leadership.

The United States of America is such a complicated system of checks and balances, that it may take more time, than it would for other nations, to accept Him as their Emperor, as well. With a history, however distant the memory, of struggles against the king of England and his royal court, the USA may take longer to overcome the resistance against the Kingship of the Messiah, GOD'S Anointed One. We may first have to be convinced that His Kingship is better than our own system before the USA joins His list of vassal nations.

The climate  is far rougher today than even 2020, could be a really harsh time of deepest divide with real fighting, leaving the USA extremely vulnerable to all sorts of evil from within and from without it's borders; such as they are.

As I pray for the peace of Jerusalem  I find continuing need to pray for peace at home as one sojourner on this fallen creation's planet earth.

The peace of Jerusalem will not be realized until haSar-Shalom, the Prince of Peace, returns!

2020  "Biden easily carried California on election day, earning 63.5% of the vote and a margin of 29.2% over Trump. Biden earned the highest percentage of the vote in the state for any candidate since Franklin D. Harris is a Californian, it is her State. Trump has zero chance of winning California.

Trump said he is voting against the initiative because six weeks is too short a period of time. That threw me off completely. When asked what is a better period of time I understood him to say he did not know, but six weeks pregnant was too short a period of time.

I know it is a tough call for many if not most people. My own  prayer is that no abortion will desired by any pregnant woman, that instead there will be ample support for every woman's need  and her man's need when she is pregnant.

Yes I know; what about incest, rape, viability of fetus, and health risk to  a woman? Tough questions! I know it to be beyond my paid grade to dictate an answer, and I think it beyond any politician's pay grade too. It is a moral issue, a spiritual matter,  a health matter to some degree, a whole life's responsibility with serious consequence matter.

Was a whole lot simpler when I was young then it is today. Way back when, if one impregnated a woman they usually married her and raised the child and cared for her till death (or divorce) did part them. If the man was not known, a most likely candidate was often credited, and it became his  responsibility.

Perhaps the old days were better, simpler anyway. At any rate we need love children more than we hate each other and hate the cost of helping pregnant women.

Now I should reread the initiative as I misunderstood it for sure. As for Trump thinking a longer period than six weeks  is necessary to decide, I don't think that is the proper question to be deciding in  the first place- the proper question is  in my opinion how do we act out cherishing   new life, and how much will we spend  sacrificially to make sure care and help is there for the mother and her man that is in need?

The real problem with this is making it a national or even a state LAW! As you said, "It's a moral issue, a spiritual matter, a health matter to some degree, a whole life's responsibility with serious consequence matter." It's NOT something that a doctor should decide, nor is it a matter that shouldn't be taken with God left out of the picture. Spiritual counseling should be involved. But, making it a LAW gets government control into the picture. We need LESS government, not more! People look too much to the government now to make the tough choices!

Such evil is amazing, not only wanting to promote unlimited abortion but also calling those that are willing to help bring life into this world deceptive.

Now a governor can't do that on his or her own! It took a majority within both Statehouses, representative and senate, all of whom are elected by the voting residents of Minnesota. More than half the residents of Minnesota are responsible for this atrocity.

Further thought: This alone may be reason enough that no Christian should opt out from voting if they can become eligible to vote. To abstain from voting is to acquiesce, to acquiesce is to endorse passively.
