Iran has a history of protests triggered by various factors, including economic problems, political issues, and concerns over water. The country’s current setbacks – the population seeing that billions of dollars Iran has invested in its proxy projects are going up in smoke – could fuel anger leading to more unrest. Even before Hamas was defeated, Hezbollah decapitated and Assad fell, Iranian protesters chanted about how their money was being wasted on projects abroad.

This is also something that Iran’s leaders know well, which is why the mullahs are likely to double down in their efforts to keep a lid on any further unrest.

This being the case, the Iranian regime may respond in a number of various ways:

One way would be to increase repression to prevent any Syrian-inspired uprisings. Another possibility would be to offer some superficial reforms or concessions to try and appease potential protestors.

The third and most dangerous scenario, from an Israeli perspective, would be a rapid push toward nuclear weapons. Feeling the walls closing in, the mullah leadership might conclude that only a nuclear solution to the ‘cancer’ of Israel, could secure the regime’s survival. Iran’s leaders realize that such a move could prompt a devastating Israeli strike, but they don’t care if millions of their country people die, to make all of the Middle East Muslin territory. Their first leader; Ayatollah Khomeini, said: As long as Islam is furthered, it doesn’t matter how many die to achieve it.            Ref: Jerusalem Post

Bible Prophecy tells us that Iran, [Elam-Media-Persia] WILL attempt to send nuke missiles to Israel. That will be their destruction. Jeremiah 49:35-37, Ezekiel 32:24-25

General Quaani, the Commander of the Iranian Quds Force; has done nothing to prevent Iran’s interests from crumbling,” one of the IRGC officials said. “Allies fell one after another, and he was watching from Tehran. Even worse days might yet be coming.” The sources told the Telegraph that there were rumors that Kahmeini would replace Qaani because of internal pressure.

“The situation is bizarre and heated and angry discussions are taking place – the other concern is what to tell supporters in Iran,” the first source told the Telegraph.

The first official noted that Iran is at its weakest and that “The resistance project almost no longer exists.”

“You don’t need to be an expert to see that we are in our weakest and most vulnerable position in decade,  and many acknowledge that here,” the official told the Telegraph

The fall of Iran supported Syria, has dramatically changed the situation in the Middle East.

Iran has been humiliated and is now desperate. Their Islamic Mullah leadership, as under intense pressure from dissidents and it is clear to them as well as the rest of the world; their days are numbered.

What will they do? What can they do?

They can try to destroy Israel, their avowed aim and object.

But as Psalms 7:12-16 and many other Prophesies tell us, that will be their downfall.

Bring it on Lord!  Show us Your power, as You did in ancient times!

@Keras...

...do you have a penchant for increasing war, suffering, death? I understand that it will happen...and that we can do nothing about it...however the God and Father of our Lord Yahshua Christ is not the god of these battles.

This is all a result of humanities sin against God...in other words...what we are seeing taking place in the world today...is the reaping of sin which brings with it death. I am not only talking about "physical death" I am talking about "spiritual death"...the separation from God...the wages of sin is death.

The Lord Yahshua will have nothing to do with these inhumane tragic murderous affairs in terms of showing His power mighty power. His power is love friend...be careful what you "pray for" Keras...the wrong god may answer.

I believe Xerxes of Persia ordered the death of Jews by decree, which could not be reversed.    The Prince of Persia is still there in the background.  There may be more to it than just Islam.

It's because Abraham banished Ishmael and Hagar to the desert.  And, the Ishmaelite descendants were given to warring even among themselves.  It's been raging for a very long time.

Of course it isn’t the bulk of the Iranian people who are haters of anybody but those who have the governing power who are the Shi-ite Islamic Mullahs, led by the Supreme Mullah, Ayatollah Khomeini. These who are known as ‘Twelver’s’ – that is, they believe the hidden Twelfth Imam will appear in the end times of this age.

But shockingly, they believe they are obliged to destroy Jewish Israel before this Imam can appear and it doesn’t worry them if millions of their own people die to achieve this.

The religion of Islam was founded by Mohammed when he received inspiration from a supernatural being he thought was the angel Gabriel. But it is easy to discern from reading the Koran and the actions of those who follow the Moslem belief, that Satan is their motivator and is their god: Allah.

So the Iranian threats and active actions to achieve their objective of ‘wiping Israel off the map’ are a real and serious threat to peace in the Middle East and to the world.

Bible Prophecy tells us that Elam, Media, Persia - all now Iran - WILL attempt to destroy Israel. Their nuclear weapons development and missile programme, is just for that purpose. However, the Bible Prophets say when they do commence their attack, the Lord will intervene and cause their weapons to recoil upon themselves. Joel 3:4, Psalms 7:12-16

This dramatic intervention by God into this world will be by a natural event, so as those atheists who survive this disaster can continue in their disbelief of God. They will follow another satanically inspired leader, as Prophesied in Revelation 13 and Daniel 7:23-24

Friends, WE are the generation who will see it all come to pass as Prophesied. The world is at the edge of massive and dramatic change, to a similar extent as what happened in the days of Noah.

It is clear that the time for this is near, but Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 that this sudden destruction will come at a time when they are saying: “All is peaceful, all secure.

So, first there must come a manmade inspired solution to this current crisis, as well as the fulfilment of Isaiah 3:1-7, where the leaders of the Jewish State of Israel will be either killed or incapacitated first, presenting Iran with their best opportunity to take action.

Wait for the Day!  Zephaniah 3:6

(Just saying this in a neutral way) Maybe Iran is just defending themselves against Israel. It could be that simple.

Nothing defensive about it. The leaders of Iran follow the teachings of the Koran, which calls for the extermination of the Jewish people.

Yeah I know about the Koran. I also know about the talmud. Regardless,

This is from the Wall Street Journal, April 2024:

The drone-and-missile attack launched by Iran on Saturday is the first time Iran has directly attacked Israel from Iranian territory. Israel has conducted hundreds of airstrikes against Iranian targets and its militia allies throughout the Middle East, a campaign that Israel rarely acknowledges but has long been an open secret.

And why did Iran strike Israel for the first time?

( Wikipedia): "Iran claimed that the attack was an act of "self-defense"[19][20] in retaliation for Israel's assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan. The attacks, while more successful at saturating Israeli air defenses than in April, did not appear to cause extensive damage.[21][22][23][24] Israel said it had shot down most of the missiles and there had been no harm to its Air Force's capabilities"

So do they ( or anyone else for that matter) not have the right to retaliate?

But seriously, I'm not into tit for tat, and war in general is against the teachings of Jesus Christ. I wish it would end. But I have yet to see any extermination being carried out by Iran. Do they even have nuclear weapons? How many times have  you heard " Iran is just a few weeks away from obtaining nuclear weapons"?

I respect Keras, but I wholeheartedly agree with you:

Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Psalms 85:8

I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Isaiah 52:7

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Luke 2:14

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

I am thoroughly convinced that God is not blessing those who believe that war is the Godly thing to do. And for Christians to remain silent I must ask you: What would be the difference if your whole neighborhood was leveled? No one left alive? Would you remain silent? On the sidelines?

I'm sorry but life is a gift from God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
