One of the girls in this video is 10 years old and being sold as a bride to a 70 year old man!   The girl says she will kill herself if her parents sell her to him.

That's odd, since the Taliban did not get formed until the mid 1990's.  The United States did back the Afghan resistance and helped with their fight against Russia.

The Taliban wasn't even in existence when Reagan was president.

Might be that information on the Afghan mujahideen  from  the US President Carter administration years on  into the US President Reagan years is what is  being referenced. All was  and is still part of the CIA secret waring programs whose purpose seems mostly to be keep the arms dealers well funded and  to get old stocks of weapons used up so that the arms industry the industrial military complex prospers greatly all the time.

Taliban is just another name of mujaheden. Same root. US proxy against Russia.

Hi,

No comment from here, except to say wasn't this also posted as  70 year old man and a 10 year old girl? I have zero confidence in theses so called news videos as they are designed to get "hits" in order to maintain ad revenue. So I just don't watch 'em, unless there is first a well written article to read and a  then a video attached.

 I'm finding there are just way too many "tar babies" along the pathway that may and actually do distract me, and that I do need avoid many as I can spot. My own need is to be about what my LORD has had written, His word the Bible, that I might learn, think about, and pray over,  as the Holy Spirit  guides and alerts me to be about reading and applying in all that I may  do.

As I have told you before, you really need to do some serious research on Islam, and it's history...   70 year old men and 10-year-old girls is following the example of their holy Prophet.  It's not only normal, it is expected by the true Muslims.
