Will God ever make good enough His creation on earth ?

Continuing on from Isaiah 64:6, Israel was consumed because of their iniquities.

But NOW, we are the work of His hand, for God to not be angry to not remember iniquity for ever, and beseeching the Lord as we are ( ALL) His people.

Next chapter, how God is sought of who does not ask after Him, found of them that did not seek Him. ( to no longer be as Israel was, walking after their own thoughts, which is NOT GOOD.)

The Lord slays that way, and the news way is calling His servants by another name. That the ones blessing themselves bless themselves in the God of truth, as those former troubles ( of iniquity) are forgotten, now hidden from the eyes of the Lord.

To behold the new heavens God creates, and the new earth, as the former ( walking in a way that is not good/after their own thoughts.) is not remembered or come into mind.

To be glad and rejoice forever in what God creates, Jerusalem ( new heavenly Jerusalem from above) a rejoicing, and her people a JOY, and God rejoices in Jerusalem and in this His people. ( His sheep)

Isaiah 64:7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
9 Be not wroth very sore, O Lord, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

Isaiah 65:1I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

Romans 10:20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Isaiah 65:15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

What manner of persons should we be, in all holy conversation and godliness, waiting until the day of the Lord, when the heavens shall be dissolved with great heat ?

According to Gods promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells.

Then, seeing we look for such things, we be diligent that we may be found of the Lord in peace, WITHOUT SPOT, and BLAMELESS.

2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

He has me. He presented His Son Jesus to me through the reveal of Jesus by the Holy Spirit, made me aware of my Lord's saving ministry, turned me about from my sin against Him, and washed me white as snow.

He made me more than good enough, He perfected me in His sight.

How are we good enough in the sight of God/perfect in HIs sight.

Doing more than the unjust, more than drunks, more than sinners who love each other. ( love the unthankful and the ungrateful)

Perfected praise through babes, humble as little children.

To be perfect as your Master, as the disciple is NOT ABOVE HIs Master.

To take HIs yoke upon us, for He is meek and lowly, and we shall find rest for our souls.

Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Matthew 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Thank you AdHoc for putting this in the proper light.  We are created to be the Lord's eternal companions and it's thru Jesus Christ's sacrifice that we may become the righteousness of God.  Yes, we are to humble ourselves.  Yes, we are to repent.  But, we are chosen to become the righteousness of God and go about the Great Commission.   We are to look up and move forward or life will pass us by.  We don't dare look back or we risk becoming a pillar of salt.  Not allowing yourself to be anything more than a filthy rag is an act of bondage keeping oneself in sin's chains.  Thank you, Lord, for freeing us so that we may bless you and be a part of your plan.

Here is a more better perspective on Psalms 113.

The description of Psalm 113, is not about God being too high to behold the world, and man, if we first look at Genesis, we understand that better, that all was good that God had made...

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

The description of Psalms 1113, is the position of the Lord, establishing who He is, just like the Lord got Himself a name in the earth by what He did in Egypt, and how He judged the gods of Egypt. ( Exodus 9:16. 12:12.)

We cant miss that God establishes His throne, ( Psalm 93:2.) He humbles Himself from His high position, to be exalted above all the gods. ( Psalm 97:9.)

Psalm 93:2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

Psalm 97:9 For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

Now we have a better perspective ( context) we read more simply in Psalm 113, of the Lord high above the nations, His glory above the heavens. ( His name established throughout the earth by His glory seen at His judgement of Egypt and its gods. Exodus 9:16. 12:12.)

That is WHY, the question is, who is like unto the Lord our God who dwells on high ? He judged the Gods, He proved who He was, it cant be that God wants to be high, and not show Himself humbled.

So God humbles Himself, and looks at what He created, ( which God declared all was very good. Genesis 1:31.) God has to humble Himself to be in that lower position to raise the poor out of the dust ( of the floor) and has to humble Himself to lift the needy out of the dunghill, to set ( exalt.) the poor and needy with the princes of His people. ( anyone appreciating a little more context on the subject ?)

Psalms 138, reveals the EXACT same perspective, although the Lord is high, YET, He has RESPECT unto the LOWLY. ( the proud are the ones signalled out to be known from AFAR OFF.) ..

Psalms 113:4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Psalms 113:5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

Psalm 138:6 Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

Who fears the Lord and thinks upon His name, are the JEWELS the Lord makes up, of sons who serve Him, and the discerning is between the righteous and the wicked, between those who SERVE God and those who serve Him not...

Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

This mind of Christ has to be in us, of the Son of God equal with God, IN THE FORM OF A SERVANT, ( those who SERVE Him. Malachi 3:16-18.) in the likeness of men, He humbled Himself, ( Psalm 113, the Lord humbles Himself to behold what is in the heavens and in the earth.) and became OBEDIENT unto dearth, the death of the cross, WHEREFORE GOD ALSO HAS HIGHLY EXALTED HIM, giving Him a name, ( the Lord got Himself a name throughout the earth, by judging the gods of Egypt. Exodus 9:16. 12:12) above every name, ( as the Lord was high above the gods. Psalm 97:9) at the name of Jesus all bow that are in heaven and in earth, and under the earth, and all tongues confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the GLORY, of God the Father. ( the name the Lord established was through His humbling and beholding of the things in the heavens and in the earth, Psalm 113:6/ humbled Himself to the death of the cross and then highly exalted. Philippians 2:8-9.)..

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Because of God coming to the earth, we are raised up TOGETHER, and are made to sit TOGETHER, in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.

Now we are taught to deny ungodliness, but to confess and live righteously, godly, looking for our Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave Himself to REDEEM US FROM ALL INIQUITY, to PURIFY UNTO HIMSELF a PECULIAR people, zealous of good works.

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
