You hardly comment. If you want scripture to comment then it would be correct to say that "scripture comments" - not you.

Scripture itself tells us who participate in the 1,000 year reign with Christ. In the following verses three groups are named;

On 10/2/2024 at 9:06 AM, Mr. M said:

The dead in Christ do not participate in the First Resurrection:

5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

1 Thessalonians 4:

15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

The beheaded are blessed and holy because they are exempted from the second death, having been "pre-judged" by their refusal to receive the mark of the beast, and prove "they did not love their lives even unto death".

6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

So then when is The Gathering of the Saints? Other than the blessed and holy beheaded,

at the end of 1000 years.

Anyone can repeat a sinners prayer. Only the most faithful stand on Christ before the guillotine.

An "earthly beheading" is the final and possibly highest blessing this side of heaven.

As I have pointed out, scripture with chapter

and verse in blue.

No need for "scripture comments" in my mind.

One verse in blue, one comment in black.

Are you seriously saying that others cannot

provide their own comments based

on the scriptures cited?

7 hours ago, AdHoc said:

The "rest of the dead" are those who are not Christ's "at His COMING" (1st Cor.15:23). The Greek for "First" can mean "FIRST in time" AND it also means "FIRST in importance or rank". Here it means "FIRST in importance" since a crown and a throne are PRIZES for faithful service and faithful self-denial. "He who loses his life ... will gain his soul life" ("psuche" in the Greek)

I do not see this statement being in agreement

with 1 Thessalonians 4 cited.

I understand your concerns for Abel and Steven

and every martyr, but this is not clearly stated

in the verse that you claim "clearly states".

Very inconsistent.

If you could clarify your comments on what the scripture

clearly states without your comment,

I will gladly stand corrected.

1. Those who died for the Witness of Christ. That would start with Stephen
2. Those who died for the Word of God. That would start with Abel and end with the Two Witnesses
3. Those who refused any form of cooperation with the Beast and died for it (Not those of Rev.13:7)

Maybe you could comment on that further,

as the verses have been both cited

and commented on.

Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

I only see one group which coincides with your number 3.

I believe that Holy Scripture combined with literal Bible knowledge of the subject is appropriate. Rather it be our own words or the words of a well educated bible scholar. I am not that. But it must be truly Biblical.

Correct. In Ephesians 4 there are two unities - 1. the unity already established by the Holy Spirit, and 2. the unity of THE faith - that which we believe. One of the gifts to bring us to the second unity is teachers. A teacher has to learn. This takes time and some mistakes. It's human - and the Lord allows it. Look at the encouraging words about Apollos even though he caused the Holy Spirit to be delayed. Let the youngest and most uneducated of us speak - and let the others judge. We'll all learn.

I am very fussy who teaches me the true Word of God and I love to learn the truth. Dr. David Jeremiah and Dr. Charles Stanley are a couple of great Pastors and teachers.

Gladly will I comment on 1st Thessalonians 4.13-18.

Paul was only in Thessaloniki for three weeks. he could not teach everything in that time. He taught the rapture and that the saints should be ready. But only the LIVING are raptured (5:23) - the whole man. Some saints had died after Paul left and the Thessalonian saints MOURNED because they thought that those a sleep in Christ would miss the rapture. Paul then goes to show two things;
1. That despite death in which the body is separated from the soul, and the soul abides in Hades (Act.2:26-34), the Lord would still be able to bring ALL the saints with Him when He came - as Jude had reported Enoch as saying (Jud 14)
2. The saints LIVING at the time would NOT PRE-CEDE those asleep in Christ. That is, they would have no advantage over the dead saints.

To accomplish this the following happens; Those dead RISE to the surface of the earth FIRST, where they receive a new body. The living are CHANGED to a body fit for the Kingdom (1st Cor.15:50-54) and TOGETHER they are caught away to the clouds to meet Christ. Then, once judged, they ALL descend WITH the Lord. Thus, those in Hades have no disadvantage and the Thessalonian saints should COMFORT each other with this word.

The struggles some saints have with 1st Thessalonians 4 is because they erroneously believe the Roman Catholic doctrine that the dead go to heaven. If this was the case, the Bible made a mistake for it says that the dead ROSE. And it would be impossible for the resurrected saints to go TOGETHER with the LIVING saints. BOTH resurrected and the LIVING saints are "caught away" (lit. Gk. - "harpazo" indicates movement but not direction)

Yes. But you have only taken those whose garments were dirty. They go through THE Great Tribulation and are refined by its fire - not to rule, but to SERVE**. Those beheaded in Chapter 20 form the Overcomers to who is promised te "Out-resurrection" and "PRIZE" of the "Upward call" (Phil.3:9-14).

There are three seeds of the Woman, 1. Those who overcome and who are caught away to the throne, 2. those who have the testimony of Jesus Christ but must flee to a wilderness, and 3. those who keep the commandments of God - the Jewish Remnant promised in Romans 9 and 11.

** See Zachariah's prophecy of Luke Chapter 1. Israel did not believe and have the Kingdom ripped away from them (Matt.21:43, 23:38). But they still may SERVE as Ezekiel shows.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
