Recently I had what is called an “eye stroke” in my left eye. I had a dream about this happening to me years earlier. In the dream I said to the Lord, “Turn this into a testimony.” The eye was photographed on the 15th of April and the doctor scheduled me to come back in a week to begin the first in a series of shots into my eyeball. I was experiencing a great deal of peace from the Lord, even though I was not looking forward to the experience and the possible side effects. I had recently met someone who had the same condition I did and he had to have 27 monthly injections.

I returned to the doctor for my shot and before the procedure my eye was photographed again. The retina specialist and his assistant were studying the photos from the previous week and the new ones that had just been taken as I was sitting there waiting. Then he turned to me and said, “This is a miracle.” The new photo revealed that my eye had been healed and he showed me the pictures. “I’m not going to give you the shot,” he said with a grin. I bubbled as I told him how I had gotten so much prayer and about the dream I had where I had asked the Lord to turn an eye affliction into a testimony. I was beside myself as I tried to absorb the fact that God had answered my prayer. The doctor shook my hand and I danced out of the office and shouted with joy “Jesus heals!” in the parking lot.

From the onset of my affliction I had been praying that God would use it and heal it to be a witness to others. He answered that prayer. Whenever anyone was healed in the New Testament, it wasn’t just for the person who needed the healing, it was also intended to be a witness of God’s power to others and to validate the gospel message. In other words, any healing serves more than one purpose. Whenever we pray for healing it should never be just for ourselves, but for others who need to see the reality of our miracle working God. I hope that this testimony will do that for you.

Hallelujah!

Your post got me digging, and I found this link you might be interested in. Lengthy.

Was God being evil when He killed all the firstborn in Egypt?

Thanks, Ycf....  (let me know what you think)

@Sower Greetings.

I read about one third and I will go back and read the rest.

First and foremost I would like to state the reason why I said the things about Pharaoh because they are truth.

Pharaoh and his Son they are with Jesus Christ to Heaven. And this is why.

Two thousand years ago when Jesus Christ descended to the underworld after he had died for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world and declared the good news to everyone who had died before him. And invited all of them to have their sins forgiven in his name in exchange for his righteousness. Pharaoh and his Son were from the first ones to believe.

Jesus Christ did what he said he would do, and this is that He would be the one to preach the Gospel to every one who died before him and the disciples will preach the Gospel to the living. And so on.

All those things must be familiar to you. If not tell me please which part you are not sure about so we can have a clarifying discussion. Because we are from the discussion generation. The old is passing away. Jesus Christ is raising up a discussion colony. A new generation.

@Sower Greetings.

God told the Israelites that this night I will lead you out of Egypt and the Egyptians will give a lot of things unto you and sent you away.

And he instructed them to keep the Lord's Passover. And to it eat with the Unleavened Bread.

And so it happened that night death Passover all the land  of Egypt. But from the Israelites no one lost the first born of man or cutle.

What happened next the Lord told them that all your first born of man and cutle are mine. I spare them from death, they are mine if not they would be dead and I spare you from the grieving of the Egyptians.

Please read the part how the Lord institute the Levitical Priesthood by taking the Lives to be his Priest instead of the first born and how he instituted the animal sacrifices from the animals he spare their lives.

At the right  time the Lord asked the people to bring all the gold they received and took from the Egyptians and give it to Moses to build  the golden vessels in the Tent of the Testimony.

This was the result of what the Lord had in his proposed to do but He did tell them at the time He was to do something but not before, as he did not tell them the reason why.

At the time of the Golden Calf the people gave their gold to build it and the Lord asked the people to bring all the gold they had to bring it to Moses to build the golden vessels of the Tent of the Testimony. All the Gold they had and all the Gold they got of  the Egyptians.

I have known some people who called themselves a Christian that left God completely because they were so devastated because of a loss and blame God.

Loss isn't easy and we're all different and have different coping abilities and strengths. We're all still human at the end of the day just pray for them.

@Sower Greetings.

The first thing the Lord asked them to do it was to celebrate the Passover and eat it with Unleavened bread.

And that's how  their religious new year started with the celebration of their Passover. By eating the Lamb of the Passover.

And followed up with the beginning of the feast  of the Unleavened Bread with the first Day a high Holiday and followed by the offering of the first fruits of the Barley Harvest. A wave offering before the Lord.

This from Exodus as to what the Lord had asked them to do year after year.

On the 10th day of Nissan the first month of their religious Calendar you choose the Lamb to be slaughter for the Passover and you take care of eat till the 14th day of Nissan to be slaughter at the beginning of the day (just after sundown) while it was still day light.

The instructions were that this Lamb must die at the 14th day of Nissan. And they gathered to eat the Passover lamb.

Jesus was the Passover lamb God will provide and Jesus knew it and every time he read or he heard that the words that the Passover lamb mast die, Jesus knew that these words was written for him.

He knew that he was chosen for this mission. He said this is the reason why I came into the world. This Lamb must be slaughter-it does not describe a natural death but a violent death inflicted by man.

Jesus was called to start his  ministry at the same age the Priests are called to begin their ministry in the Temple before the Lord. At the age of thirty years old. A priest before God in the order of Melchizedek. Not from Aaron but still can stand in the presence of God and without all the rituals required by the Law.

Jesus was called by God to come to the Jordan River to John, to be baptized by John and begin his ministry.

That day Jesus knew it was the symbolic day of the 10th of Nissan. From that time Jesus knew that he will leave three more years because on the 14th day of Nissan the day of the Passover he will die on the Cross. Jesus also knew how he will die and by whom.

Jesus Christ knew that

Many Things can happened during our life and people will be heartbroken and feel betrayed and let down and those things will change them.

And this is why he said: will I find faith in people who are going through these extraordinary difficult situations.

He knew that people will be in different negative emotions and he expects it to be even towards him and it comes natural for people to turn against him with anger, as they believed that he was the only one after the human help to do something and they hoped so.

But Jesus Christ knowing all those things he said that the thing I am still looking to find in people in those difficult situations is not love or complementary words about him and Jesus said: would I STILL FIND FAITH IN THEM.

This is the only thing that Jesus still is looking to find in heartbroken people FAITH IN HIM.

People forget that and they look and find many negative things in people who are devastated and even do not want to live anymore as they are without the one they lost.

But they do not look to find faith in Jesus Christ because they can't see the faith in the heart of the people but only consider their moods and the words they say. words that speak of the pain they harbor in their hearts.

Jesus knows everything about people and he looks to know them by their faith. In their heart. And He knows everything that they say and they promise to do and he does not ignore it. But He still says: I HAVE FOUND FAITH IN ME IN THEIR HEAR. love and fond words certainly not at that time.

Idk that's hard. A friend of mine lost her son when he was 1 and she has questions for God and I don't blame her. I think God can handle our confusion, anger ,disappointment and grief. His grace and mercy will cover our doubt and lack of faith.

I am sorry I did not meant it that way as my mother had a similar experience. She lost her first little girl from not a serious illness just a cold. She was devastated and still suffered after many decades even though she had other children and two daughters.

She was scared for life. And her other two daughters carry her sadness in them.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
