Yes, that's right....only $750 for a hurricane victim.    While 2 Billion was allocated for illegal migrants shelter and housing.

No body language on this video, just unbelievable facts about what the Biden Harris administration is doing.   And not allowing that would help.

Biden/Harris are a  "Heartless Administration". All the fund went to the Illegals that Harris/Biden allowed to cross the border. Unbelievable!!

@Neighbor brought up FEMA allocates $750 payments.   But still, the Biden Harris administration took big money from FEMA to house, use for illegal migrants.   So now FEMA is low on funds.

Hi, And while that  seems correct, it is the USA congress that has declined to increase allotted funding or to heed President Biden's present request for the House of Representatives to come into session right now  to approve adding  more funds to the FEMA budget.

In the meantime electioneering  is in high gear by  both parties of the duopoly!

Locally  (Florida) FEMA is on the ground, as are all the insurance companies having  benefits fairs where people can go get explanations perhaps even a check, and an appointment  for insurance adjusters. The many charities, and churches, are on scene, some school  groups, college kids, etc. are all together  helping,  as are police Fire/rescue personnel some of which have been on duty  in shifts lasting as long as 24 hours and more.

Others are making financial donations, this is  a long haul we are in it together  event. It is something we will be in for even years of repair, reformulating codes, and rebuilding communities and neighborhoods.

Please be in prayer especially for the local police forces and fire rescue personnel. The physical toll on them individually is extraordinary.  Plus the city and county  employees are putting in  super effort to get water systems, sewer systems, back together. It is all disrupted and under piles of sand like a giant snowstorm of sand hit. Inland it is a mass of massive old oak trees broken and in piles.

A huge problem is where is all the debris going to go? !  This problem alone is  a massive nightmare. The search and rescue operations and  along with it the injury and death toll  increases throughout the Eastern USA.

Whether coastline, flatlands, or inland mountains, it  is a real serious mess that will take many many years of effort by tens of thousands of individuals. These are just the first days and weeks.

While the destruction is demanding of physical response there is also a shortage of equipment  and personnel to provide food to those that ordinarily receive it from charities like  meals on wheels as example. Locally they lost 35 of their 50 food delivery vehicles.

"Feeding Tampa Bay"  also normally provides some 215,000 meals a day. All are in need of volunteers, as is Hospice and Empath. This is far bigger than a where is FEMA event (FEMA is here). It is an all hands on deck need, the need to come together, right now and stay together. It is NOT a grand time for political one upsmanship.

It shows they do not care for the U.S. people at all. What a shameful Administration. Shame on them for doing this. My relatives and friends are devastated and they do this!

See NY TIMES article https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/03/us/helene-north-carolina-latino-swannanoa.html

Read the concluding quote  before the Times cuts you off. The Spanish speaking latinos at NorthCarolina are amazed at the "Americanos" that are coming to help them.

Latinos are the fastest  growing segment of the population in North Carolina. People from Blue Ridge Georgia are coming, and also bringing  Spanish Language literature telling them of where help is available, even as they bring food, water, and clothing.

No one is asking are you  Blue or Red or legal or Catholic or whatever, they are just heeding the call  to do as our Lord has shared we are to be  going about doing in his name to His glory alone.

That is one reason I so love the people I meet in that part of the USA! They see each of us as someone to love even as they love our Lord.

That comes from the FEMA accounts, which have been kind of drained from giving it to the illegals. That $750 is some kind of set thing.  The people in the Hawaii fire only received this, but there are other grants and loans that could be available, however those were not given to the people in Hawaii as far as I have heard.

Hopefully, Trump will be president in January and he'll set things straight.  Stop funding the war with Russia and take care of We the People.

Patti, have your family and friends gotten any help?    Do they have electric, water, food?  I guess some areas got hit harder.

Trump set up a GoFundMe page for the victims.   As of yesterday it was nearly four million in donations.   The money goes to different charities or organizations helping in the relief effort.

Found out yesterday that only low income, people already on government assistance, are getting the $750 per household!

Others are denied.

hi all

Just a small note.

Firstly please let me say that I am not an american citizen.. and that it is up to americans to decide who to vote for as their Usa president....  (i.e I am not trying to promote any particular Usa political party)

But I came across this BBC article online that has some info about the issue in this thread  ..and was wondering if it might be helpful?  Not sure.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5y3qgqxpwno

Thanks.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
