I have studied this. I know it better. I am a slave of God.

How can someone doubt after he has read my reasons?

Have I not explained it enough? Why do you still believe Jesus was born in December or Tishri if I have clearly shown to you that he was born in Nisan 1?

I know it better than you, because I studied it myself. I have read the Bible completely. I am just a slave of God.

You "know it better"? Or, you are good at boasting in your own knowledge?

I think the latter.

Your first three arguments are based upon personal presumptions alone. Not biblical facts, not biblical prophecies, not historical records. I have read scores of such presumptive claims about the time of the birth of Jesus. Without an actual historical account to back up such presumptions, none can be reliably believed.

And there is such an historical record of the time of His birth, but no one will accept it.

I find it more likely that John the baptizer was more likely born in the month of Nisan.  Jesus would of been born 6 months later.Possibly during the festival of Tabernacles . if it really mattered there would be finite information in the bible . now if you want to  get right down to it his death was far more important

Tiberius rein started in 14 CE which would put his 15th year in 29CE not 26.  Which would put his birth in 2 or3BC.   I am thinking 3 BC

Herod's death was figured by noting an eclipse, and the eclipse that happened in 4BC was pretty much a nothingburger in Israel.   Much more notable eclipses happened in both 2BC and 1BC, so many historians today think more likely he died in 2 BC.   I also agree and think Jesus was born in 3BC.

As for his birthday, I personally think it was on September 11th, but that takes a book to say why.

Fun to read about, but not important enough to expect everyone to agree with everything.  Though I do think what most do on Christmas as not good.  Eater eggs and bunnies is truly blasphemous.  But that's between people and God.

I agree.

That date corresponds with Tishri 1, which, in 3 BC, was Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Tradition says that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all born on that day.

It makes sense that the Jewish Messiah would be born on that specific day, as well.

Christmas is not on December 25. Christmas is on Nisan 1.

New Year is not on January 1. New Year is on Nisan 1.

If you are a true Christian, you should follow the biblical calendar.

You shouldn't follow the catholic-pagan calendar.

Would a true Christian eliminate Christ from the whole of the calendar and time and use the pagan designation of BCE?  Before the Common Era, thus eliminating Anno Domini, the Year of our Lord???

Jesus was born six months after John was born.

The angel appeared to Zacharias during his first duty in the Temple.

We know the Priesthood family of Zacharias and we know the week from the beginning of the year I think is the seven that Zacharias was in service in the Temple.

Give him some time to get the news to his wife and rejuvenate because he had to make a baby and probably fast and pray as it was their custom. Abou six months after John the Baptist was conceive if we can use this word for Jesus.

@slave. I liked the line of thinking but please check when the Angel appear to Zacharias and his family is posted and you can search when at what week was his lot to serve in the Temple.

Luke 1:5 the priestly division of Zacharias was the family of Abijah.

luke 1:5

5 In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron.

   >>The priestly division of Abijah was assigned to serve in the temple during the eighth week of the year, according to the biblical text in 1 Chronicles 24:7-18.

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God. God promised to Abraham to provide a Lamb.

And God provided Jesus Christ on the day of Atonement. Jesus Christ was born on the day of Atonement.

The promised Lamb of God was born on the Atonement day. A sign that the promised Lamb of God to Abraham that it is the Lamb of the Atonement. Jesus as the Lamb of God will be slain for the forgiveness of the sins of many.

John the Baptist had seen this and he said the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Jesus knowing that He is the Lamb of God to be slain for our sins, he said for this reason I was born to die in this way as the prophetic was, for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world.

Psalm 22: 6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by everyone, despised by the people.

7 All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads.

8 “He trusts in the LORD,” they say, “let the LORD rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him.”

They pierced my hands and my feet and my bones are out of joint.

14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me.

15 My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death.

16 Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet.

17 All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me.

18 They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
