I'm giving it a while longer until the apocalypse comes to its climax :tasty:

I reside in a similar environment and view it as the deceitfulness of sin. It could change suddenly and the reality of the unconverted laid bare, and so forth.

What do you have to say to a Berean type of student who may asked you if your beliefs, which are not specifically indetify if they reflect the beliefs and teachings of Jesus?

I try to keep it to the main points to anyone I talk with. Culturally there are vast differences in different parts of the world. In Toronto there’s a different vibe than here, and yet God is working everywhere. I just want to be led to interested people who want to know:)

According to Jesus the last days are days of great blessings like never before.

The moon will turn to blood and the stars will turn to darkness and fall on the earth.

When I read Genesis 6, 19 + other Books that speak of the same account of that time (Enoch - Yasher - Jubilee) to get a view of the Days of both Noah and Lot in a much broader enlightenment spoken by Yeshua in Matthew and Luke.   I can clearly see that the Days we live in now are a greater evil.   We have truly reached a point where good is seen as evil and evil as good.

Nowhere in the Canon [Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek] except for the worship of Asherah [Ashkelon] [Canaanites] do we see the full blown changing of the genders like we do in 2025 where the governments have decreed a person has the right to choose their own identity based upon Gender even if the gender chosen doesn't match the Chromosome.

As a person that studied Religion and especially ancient Religions the following of witchcraft is more common today than at any other point in history.

The Last Days are connected to people that are selfish and no longer desire to help those in need.   It's not just the average person in the USA but sadly many Churches have fallen into this category.

The Bible is very clear that there will be Church but it will only be a form of Godliness and no longer the real thing.   In my younger days Worship Service might be the entire Service because people began Worshipping God and the sick were being healed.  I remember looking at the bunched up mountain of wheelchairs thrown on top of one another after the person in it was healed and took off running praising God.

I haven't seen a preacher, Deacon, Lay person heal a cough in 20 years.  But there are true Churches where God is moving and lives are changing and miracles are normal to see but it used to be in many Churches but today they are just a form of Godliness.

I could go on and on here but the truth be told we are not only mirroring the Days of Noah and Lot but have made them appear less evil when compared to the Days of Today right now.

Matt. 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

There are places on earth filled with death, misery, and suffering beyond the notice of many. Northeast of this city lies a placid suburbia-ville. Everything is peaceful there, and the police are swift to respond to calls. That's where most churches are located.

The heart of this city is called the warzone. There are murders, kidnapping, assaults, drug overdose deaths, and people who dig through dumpsters for something to eat here. The police never respond to calls unless said call involves a dead body. A few churches are found here. They walk the streets and give aid to the needy. This is where the Lord sent me.

Where does evil abound? In both areas.

Early last night a mini-tornado blasted through, leaving the usual damage in its trail. There was an alert on my phone and I had prayed we would be unscathed, which we were, but a neighbour's wooden fence is down due to its posts having rotted.

There seem to be two main camps on the end times. In both cases we are still to be doing the work of the Lord.

I often sense discomfort in some of my brothers when we discuss these things as if it's a place we really shouldn't go. I can see their angst because it can lead to disagreements, and yet we should be mature enough to agree to disagree. The other thought is that it detracts from us doing the work we are supposed to do, sort of like a truck spinning tires in a mud hole and never going any where. I can see that too.

I have to give some traction to the idea that there have been numerous claims all through history from well meaning people who thought it was the end when it wasn't, and really for the believer there will never be an end, but a new beginning, so I see all of this as more of a transition.Thy kingdom come.

We as humans tend to try and tie things to other things that seem to connect and make sense. So if I say that some things looks different now than ever before will I get that same wince? Is it just another world event we took the wrong way?

What I see-

Knowledge increasing exponentially like never before. In scripture

The nations taking away freedoms, even punishing Christian beliefs. In scripture

Global financial instability, possibly intentional. The alignment of a totalitarian 'system'.

Spiritual death all around us with people  mostly following their own empty whims.

Collapse or weakening of social programs in most nations with costs rising due to overhead.

The plans for a new temple are completed. A rebuilt temple soon it seems.

Constant friction with countries like Iran between the US and others.

Distractions and deceptions abound.

Some of it is simply, " as in the days of Noah", well most of it actually. This is a deeper rabbit hole many consider tin foil hat territory. I can see it.

Different in small ways and yet the same as the days of Noah. Every man for himself, the degrading of the human in various ways. Many of us can point to a "remember when" time not too long ago when things were much different.

Globally things are not getting better in my opinion. I don't see it. I see it all getting progressively worse just as Jesus told us it would right before He returns. Am I a pessimist? I am more of a realist.

To the believer fear isn't an option. We don't need it. It unermines our work. Our side won. It's the in between stuff that can show us things, or not.

There is no emphasis on fellowshipping with the one who is in the midst, without this ever abiding there is no deepening individual relationship; the End Times serves at best a distraction to the One who is revealed in the moment.

It could be said that many believers are anticipating the uniting to Jesus in a much more personal way which won’t happen until either after death or His return. Until then we have the very personal Holy Spirit within us.
I hear you saying this subject is a distraction to relationship with God. It could be if a person is the kind of person who might let details go for a bigger picture. Can’t see the forest for the trees kind of thing. I don’t believe study of this subject needs to be.

Again, we are to be doing God’s work. Bearing fruit no matter what.

The way into this personnel relationship has always been open from the Beginning/moment (the Word was sent forth) ... but it costs ...

I have found that the Beginning and End are not points in time but the very person of Christ, and when studied as an event in time does nothing to further this relationship.

There is of course nothing wrong with knowing the time you're in, but not at the expense of relationship, individually or collectively.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
