Boycott Pepsi?

I posted this message in another fourm and don't know what happened to it. I understand if it was moved elsewhere, but I don't understand why it would be deleted unless one of the administrators thought it was spam. I havn't posted much latley, so maybe no one recognized me thinking it was spam.

Anyways, my point is, I got this from an e-mail. I am not sure if it's a hoax or not. I would like your opinion on this as well?

Don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can

coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the

Pledge of Allegiance on them.

However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge,

"Under God."

Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone.

In that case, we don't

want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either!

So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended

when they don't receive our money that has the words

"In God We Trust" on it.

The best way to respond to this would be to keep buying Pepsi as usual (I personally don't like it) unless it was in this can.. If all other products it has sells except for this particular can they will get the message, and if this is just spam going around they will not suffer loss over some lie that gets propagated around.

I don't know if this is true or not, but would be really stupid to have an advertising campaign that would really offend one group or the other when you want both to buy your products...... I really doubt the truth of the information.

Personally I have not heard of this. Thank you for sharing and bringing it to light. If real, it will be intresting to see how much Pepsi is boycotted and their reaction.

Yes, I did some researcha nd did find that it is indeed false. Sorry about that. I had doubts about it, but instead of doing research first, I wanted to get the news out quick.

Anyways, we all can breath, lol. It's false.......(grabs pepsi from fridge---not really, dont like pepsi anyways )
