I think it's quite possible that God could create Aliens and tell us nothing about it. Why not? What does it matter?

Hello,

You might want to go back and read in post #69 of this same thread as I address this in that post. Be sure to read the post in it's entirity as I am also talking with someone else within the process of that post. There is also scripture given as well in reference to "terrestrial" and "celesstial" beings.

I don't know if they do or don't exist.

But doesn't it seem kind of arrogant of us to think that of all the planets and all the solar systems in the universe, God chose just one to give life to?

Hello Giaour,

I don't think it's arrogant at all to believe in the Genesis account of creation as being all there is here within the world we live in at all. I think just the exact opposite that it is arrogant of the human race to take the theories of the scientist over the biblical account of creation given to us in Genesis chapter 1. For it is the scientists theory that there are other solar systems in the universe and other suns I on the other hand believe there is only one sun and one solar system within the world God created for mankind to live and dwell in. You might want to go back and read post #69 in it's entirety as I went into depth while talking with the person in that post using scriptures pertaining to "terrestrial" and "celesstial" beings. It is a lenghty post. Either way it will be some good food for thought on the subject.

God Bless You Richly

I actually went back and read the whole thread before I posted.

Couldn't God have created life on other planets when He "created the heavens"?

Couldn't that encompass other life forms?

I don't know, I stated that already.

It just seems plausable in regards to the enormity of the universe.

Seems like we think the universe centers around us, that just seemed arrogant to me.

I really have no idea.

I'm reading everyone's responses though.

Who created man?

Is He capable of creating others?

Is satan himself transfigured into an angel of light?

Hmmmmmm.

It's worth considering to say the least.

Agreed.

Peace.

The planets are the lights God put in the firmament on the 4th day of creation and they were not created and put in the sky for the purpose of other life forms. They were created and put up in the sky for signs, days, seasons and years they were created for that purpose only and they have been faithfully rotating around this earth since the beginning of time regulating the times and seasons. The sun and moon and stars were also created on that same day for the purposes God so stated about them in genesis chapter one. God has told us in his word what he put up in the heavens when he created them in the beginning and has given to us what each of his creations were and what their purpose was that they were to do and fullfil. And the universe in which is God's handiwork as recorded in the book of psalms is enormous as you've stated for sure. All of God's creation is evidence to us of our creator as we ourselves were created for His purpose.

All the world love signs and wonders and thats exactly what the enemy is giving us. Anything to detract or distract from the salvation we have in Christ. The only reason to believe there is life outside of earth is if we want to integrate the unbelieving machinations of the scientific community at large. Why SHOULDNT God create the universe and put mankind at the centre of it under Christ?

I don't know why, but for some silly reason everytime I see the title of this thread I think of the song by the Newsboys -

Entertaining angels

by the light of my TV screen

24/7

You wait for me

Entertaining angels

by the time I fall to my knees

Host of Heaven

sing over me

Weird, huh?

I don't even understand what the song means! :noidea:

You would have to see the whole song, but I think it is talking about someone who has drifted away from the Lord and is in the process of coming back. It seems to me that the singer of the song understands that angels are watching over him/her and asks them all to sing over him as the night becomes history. I don't understand what the singing accomplishes unless it is a prayer song...... that sometimes happens to me when I am praying.... it all comes together in a simple melody or opens up into tongues.

Why would God need other life forms. The battle is being waged right here on earth. Since satan lives here, wouldn't that mean that evil is contained here as well? :emot-hug:

I truly believe aliens and demons are one and the same. Also when the bible speaks of Jesus,Enoch and Elijah being "Caught up in a whirlwind".Seems as if they were carried out by some means.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
