Do you like Madonna's music?

Madonna's music is not my style to begin with, so it doesn't hurt me to avoid it. I avoid it if at all possible because she makes an effort to attack Christianity with almost every tour. If I wasn't a Christian i'd be tired of it by now, it's old and done to death by this "artist" Since I am a Christian, she offends me as much as Deicide do.

I happen to enjoy SOME of her music. Her earlier work most of all. Nothing released after Vogue. I LOVE Express Yourself, Borderline, Pappa Don't Preach, Like a Prayer, This Used to Be My Playground(from A League of Their Own), and most of all Cherish. Her later more risque tunes are not the least bit to my liking.

As to her recent events concerning hanging from a Cross. That I don't like. But as a staement about the way people treat others sometimes. I can understand the statement she is making.

Madonna is definately a unique person. Her own person and in control of her own life obviously. I liked her for a short time when she made the movie Desperately seeking Susan. She has a good beat to her music but she cant really sing and she may have an extremely athletic body, she has been disrespectful and a very very bad influence on young people.

I don't know what she is doing today because I lost intereest in her when she used sexual choreograpy and again disrespectful lyrics as if she was so proud to blashphemy Christ.

She really can't sing... accompanyments and her smart business sense and I'll admit, her creativity has brought her to the status she has today. But I would rather be poor than be rich through the avenues that she has taken.

Without actually hearing it, which I don't believe I'd want to, my estimation is that it is probably junk and filth.

Yeah, I can see why you'd think music about tolerance is junk, and why you'd assume that helping people through hard times through music would be filthy.

Is judging things with no prior knowledge of them the Good Christian Thing To Do?

By their fruits you will know them, the Bible says, and I would dare say that Madonna's "tolerance" is probably more geared towards those who live non-Christian lifestyles than it is towards Christians. When Madonna gives a public apology for her past anti-Christian songs and actions, I might be inclined to give her music a listen. Until then, it's nothing more than rummaging through the garbage dump in hopes of finding something decent.
