Ah, so that is the reason. I wondered why. I do know that Zola Levitt ministries lost a lot of donor support due to its programming about Israel. I saw their last broadcast on TBN today. I am sad to see them go.

If a person does not have access to the TV stations mentioned in the OP, they can still view current programs via internet from www.levitt.com. You have to download the latest Real Player as well. The programs are posted on the website one week after their air time.

I knew it was just a matter of time, after I saw Hal Lindsey go. I have noticed that some other programs that were vocal against Islam have toned down (no doubt for fear of being cancelled).

I can imagine that TBN has laid down the law about what can and cannot be said on their program regarding Islam and Israel.

This whole issue is trying to make the world anti-Jew again... just like hitler. Advertising, news reports, writing.... putting the Jew in a bad light, which is totally false.

Our local viewer supported christian broadcasting station (VCY) carries it. I have really enjoyed Zola's show and found it well done and informative. Some Arabs might of learned something from it, too. Too bad...

You know, I started watching Zola loyally since 1990. That was back when he would don biblical garb and teach by the Sea of Galilee. He started off just teaching on the Jewish roots of the faith. He would travel to the ruins of various biblical sites and the ruins of areas like Ephesus, Phillipi, Colosse, and he would teach (once again in biblical garb), and it seemed to do really well.

After the signing of the Osolo peace accords, he really started shifting gears towards current events pertaining to the Palestinians, while still teaching from the Bible. The last five years of his show was nothing but coverage on the current events in Israel, and he became my favorite advocates from Israel. I have saved every "Levitt Letter" and I would drink up his programs when they were on. 30 mins flew by so fast on his shows. Barely did he get started, and the program came to a close.

He died in April, but I still miss him. I am hoping that the ministry will put more of his videos on DVD so that I can rewatch some of the old programs I remember him from. Jeffrey Seif and Sandra Levitt are wonderful, but no one will ever take Zola's place.

I miss Zola deeply, and what a shame that his wonderful show will not live on on TBN

I may a bit cynical, but I see it this way. There are 550,000,000 Arabs, and about 6,000,000 Jews in the Middle East. The Arab world possesses more land than any other single ethnic group on the Planet. The Jews own a country half the size of Lake Michigan.

With a near limitless amount of space to erect new stations, thus bringing in much more revenue for TBN, they must feel they can afford to lose those shows that support Israel over againt Islamic fundamentalism.

It is strange, that if there is such a distinction between Islamic Fundamentalism, and the "REAL Islam" we are told that does not approve of terrorist activities, why would such programs be offensive to the "religion of peace?" One would think that "REAL Muslims" would not be morally opposed to these types of shows that expose radical Islam's anti-Israel agenda. One would think that "REAL Islam" would lock arms with anyone opposed to Islamic terrorist activities and would welcome any broadcasts exposing this threat.

Yet, TBN feels pressured to cancel such shows in order to appease these Muslims. It would appear that the divide between the two types of Islam are not has clear as the liberals would have us believe.

I really don't understand why TBN does not create programming suitable for regional viewing? For example, why not have more programming for the Arab world, in Arabic hosted by Arabic Christians? Zola's Program could remain on the channels that receive TBN in the US. They could do the same for other regions as well.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
