Will our pets go to heaven?

Somewhere in Revelation, it says that even the animals will sing and rejoice in Heaven, or something like that.

If pets are in Heaven as such, and there would be millions and millions of them, then I hope they are house trained, and do not leave fur and hair all over the place, and that they smell better than they did amongst us....and what about those Believers who don't like pets, why should they suffer for eternity? And many different races in Heaven would regard one mans pet as another mans dinner.

If mans spirit goes upward and the beast spirit goes downward then they are not both going back to God.

only mans spirit is that goes upward.

Ecclesiastes 3:18--"I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the "sons of men" and that God might "manifest" them. and that "they might" see that they themselves are "beasts."

This is saying that mankind will one day die and that the fleshly nature that we are born with that is wild by nature like the beasts of the earth before the Lord well it is our fleshly nature this earthly tabernacle that we shall put off one day at death and our earthly tabernacles of clay will return once again to the earth to dust that goeth downward but our spirits go upward.

If the sons of men or the people in the family of the earth would see that they are basically sinful then they would see their own need for salvation and then trust in God for salvation at the time of death.

To those in this life who do "see" that they themselves are beasts then they will find repentance and become the "sons of God" and will one day be manifested at the resurrection of their bodies. Corinthians 15:42-45 & 1 John 3:1-3 all the bodies of flesh will return to dust once again. see 1 Corinthians 15:39 which is talking about the celestial bodies verse 38 tells us in that passage that God gave them a body that please him and the body is not quickened unless it die. So the bodies of all fleshly creatures which we are included goeth downward to the earth back to the dust but the spirit is quickened and goeth upward back to God.

Ecclesiates 3:18--"For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts even "one thing" befalleth them (death) as the one dieth so dieth the other; yea they have All "one breath" (giving by God in the beginning) so that a man hath "No preeminence" above a beast: (distinguished above them) for all is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 3:19--All go unto one place all are of the dust and all turn to dust again (as all the celesstial bodies will die and return to the earth to dust which is why it says in the next verse)

Ecclesiastes 3:21--Who knoweth the "spirit" of man that goeth upward (this is the life that God place in the celesstial fleshly bodies of this earth in the beginning that goes upward) and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? (the spirit of the beast is referring to our fleshly natures that we have been given to live in as God place life in our bodies as He saw fit to give us and the bodies of all celesstial beings will return to the ground to dust but the life of the flesh goes back to God as we as mankind do not have the "Preeminence" we are not above the beasts of the earth for all goeth unto one place.

It is Christ who has the "preeminence"

Colossians 1:15-18--Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature For by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth visible and invisible whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers all things were created by him and for him And he is before all things and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body the church who is the beginning the firstborn from the dead: that in all things he might have the "preeminence."

3 John 9--I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the "preeminence" among them, receiveth us not. (Do you know people like that in your life?)

I am just glad that Christ conquered death and we have eternal life as a result and I cannot boast by myself to be any better than the animals of the earth for we all shall die alike but Christ did conquer death. All life down here is earthly and will return but to mere dust 'downward".

I know that God's great LOVE is not limited. Nor are his capabilities. And Jesus said that He keeps up with even the sparrows.

It is his love that enables us to love his creation. It is not our love that is asking him to love!

Well if animals are going to heaven I hope they are all de-loused first.......and neutered.

Seeing as God is going to create a new heaven and new earth for us to live in I hope the former things that are undesirable down here and are pesty to us don't go on over there like fleas, flies and mosquitos etc. maybe they will quit their biting and living on the animals as they want have to when they get their as the food chain will be gone so the skitters shouldn't have to bite us no more for our blood and fleas shouldn't have to live on dogs to survive anymore as the lamb and the lion will lay down with each other and the lion want devour the poor little lamb. and I just don't know what to say about the aggravating flies it would be heaven to me in my mind right now if I never saw another one of them things. who knows. LOL

But I do know all will be well for all of God's creation once and for all when His plan is complete and we are abiding in the new heavens and new earth.

This is just my opinion. I don't know for sure

I suspect that flies will not be there, because they help in the decay process of death.

There will be no more death in Heaven. Amen!!!!

But if flies are there, their function will probably not be the same as it is here on earth. I know that God created the fly and after the fall they were subjected to the curse which could have altered the original function God had planned for them.
