Will our pets go to heaven?

Honestly, I fail to see any significance to the subject at all.

Not to sound callous to the animal lovers out there, but.....who cares?

To begin with, the most commonly preached and accepted view of heaven is almost completely unbiblical.

As far as pets, is there not a passage in the New Testament, which says "all creation will be restored"?

I found these.

"And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Whom the heaven must recieve until the times of restitution of of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" (Acts 3:20-21).

And this, That the curse upon the serpent continues upon literal snakes even in the Millennium when it (the curse) is removed from all other animals, read (Isa. 65:25). Naturally these Scriptures teach of the curse which will be removed from the Earth.

I tend to sway this way for the sake of children, and for those who truly love their animals. Ask yourselves this? Why would God not keep something someone loved. Something created by God for the enjoyment of His children? And the hildren who have died and gone to Heaven and asked God where their pet who died before them was, wouldn't God say , "Here it is?"

I believe they will go to heaven as animals have a body and spirit and do have the breath of God within in them. Animals are not three part beings like man which is body soul and spirit. Animals don't have to be redeemed cause they don't have a soul which is the ability to choose their own freewills as man was put over the animals to rule over them.

According to Ecclesiastes 3:19-21--tells us death comes to man and beast alike, that they all have "one" breath which was from God in the beginning. And that when we and the animals die all go to one place. Our bodies goes to the dust again both of animals and beasts. the spirits of man and beasts goes back to God who gave it being the life in which God gave the breath of life.
