I am such a idiot after reading some stuff on ouija boards I got curious. I tried one.....

scare me to death. Here are the questions i asked.....

am i protected by the holy spirit? -no

are you sure? -yes

are you a fallen angel? - no

does jesus have power over you? - no

In jesus name tell the truth. are you a liar! - yes

now! does jesus have control over you? - yes

Now I have no doubt that that board is evil....For you guy who never tried one dont...........

This thread is at the point of getting a bit "out there" and being more harm than good. The point of this thread is to aid and comfort a fellow believer, not scare them to death.

Yes, let's be careful not to give Satan the power by being afraid. We need to be aware that these things are dangerous yes, but also remember that God is more powerful and our refuge is in him.

Ouija boards are a big NO NO for Christians, ignorance is bliss as far as I am concerned.

Really a board is not even needed...

My father is well, we think possessed. He has always been surrounded by evil spirits; levitating beds; objects being thrown across the room; large black shaodows darker than night with red glowing eyes and evil growls; "ghosts"/mascarading demons; voices that all could hear and so on.... My mother is a very God fearing woman who got involved with a lying, manipulating man [my father], when I was a toddler the house we had was under much attack, he invited my aunt and uncle over to investigate the 'ghost'. He drew out a ouija board on a piece of paper. At that point my mother scooped me up and left the house while they went though with questioning the demon. When mom and I returned, it was said that the spirits would leave the house on December 25. At the strike of midnight on the morning of the 25... While mom held me and read to me of Christ's birth in our annual tradition... The house errupted into noise of screams, yells, a rushing wind, doors opening and slamming, window opening and shutting. There were foot stomping and growls, there were shadows of ugly creatures. Mom was praying and heard the quiet voice of God telling her to turn away and not to look... She held me close and told me the same, while staying in prayer... She felt something sharp on her neck. Then as sudden as it all began the noise and activity stopped, all was quiet. Except she had blood on her neck like a paper cut... There were fang marks and she still has a scar to this very day, two punctre marks on the back of her neck.

Did the evil really leave though? No, for whatever reason it surrounds my father like mist on a mountain top. You can feel the heavy darkness all around him. It is heavy like that lead appron you get at the dentist when having x-rays. It is draining and oppressive. I spent 20 years living with that man while mom worked on trying to change him... The things we have seen would give nightmares to the bravest of men.

Flee from anything that even resembles evil.

That gave me chills just reading it. Can't believe that your mother survived years in a home like that, sorry to be so blunt. I mean, it's one thing when small stuff happens to scare people, the tricks, like moving things or making sounds when there's no one else around, but that night when they left? Terror. Good thing you were young then, or maybe not so good. I'm glad for you and your mother that you got through all that, really must have been Jesus looking out for you. It's hard to imagine something so hostile like that. Praise God you two are safe! Heh, your father, sad thing as I perceive it, could possibly be too far gone to even realize he is better off with God, right? I mean, in some possession cases, it seems that the host can not even be present in his own mind, like the absence of all thought/will of his own, if that even makes sense. Scary.

The main thing is do not beat yourself up about it. You asked for forgiveness and you are forgiven. If you allow yourself to feel guilt and fear over this, that will do much more to leave the door open than anything. The main thing to remember is that you were in communication with an evil spirit. This spirit lies. So, some of what it told you was true, and some a lie. Do not dwell on it. It was an evil spirit, and thus it is subject to the Holy Spirit. Concentrate on your relationship with Christ and His Holy Spirit, not on your past sin which brought you in communication with this demon. The only real tool that the evil spirit has at this point is guilt and fear. Do not yield to either.

Well-said. It's kinda scary to me though that giving into fear can also be putting in a foothold for a demon, that it can exploit that fear and use it as a way to get into a person, or have the right to oppress him.

Demon shenanigans. Don't listen to it. Ask the Lord to uncover anything you need to know. Apart from that, rebuke the fear or puzzlement it gave you. It's some loophole it found to mess with your head. OK?

And because you are confused by it, his playing with you worked. It must have been awful going through that, wasn't it? Didn't you at least feel its presence? Sheesh, even non-Christians don't seem to have a sense of how scary demons really can be, much less of just how wrong and dangerous it is to even toy with such things that involve them. *shudders*

Some good answers here. I hope it worked out for you, and as might have been mentioned before, you probably could benefit from another Christian's help in this. There's no telling, until you find out, how many doors one seemingly simple act can actually open. Besides, as was also said before, it could also allow for more to enter and interfere with your life. It's really a scary business to play with that stuff. Even horoscopes are bad, as someone else said earlier too.

To be honest I knew i was going to be talking to a demon to begin with. I was tempted and try to make a logical excuse. I said to myself "This board is use to talk to demons as a christian I have the ability to command them so Ill use this board to communicate and rebuke them so they will stop their constant tempting" Unfortanitly i fail to relized how real they accually are. I felt uncomfortible after the first question but felt so scared after i asked the question "are you near me?"
