The point of all that I said in regards to him was that we are not called to judge him, that means all of us.

Ahem....

1 Corinthians 5:9-13

11 What I meant was that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a Christian yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or a drunkard, or a swindler. Don't even eat with such people. 12 It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your job to judge those inside the church who are sinning in these ways. 13 God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, "You must remove the evil person from among you."

Marc:

When you say "opponent of Hinn" do you mean Hank Hanegraff? Hank Hannegraf has an apologetics ministry. He exposes false doctrines and does not comment on Hinn's money at all.

The only reason money was brought up at all, was one of Hinn's followers on this thread, His Son, started talking about Hannegraf's money, which pales in comparison to Hinn's money. Why he even brought this up is beyond me. He brought up something he probably wishes he had not.

His Son: You say that you do not judge people for their money, but for their doctrines? The only thing about Hannegraf you brought up was his money???!!

How many words are there for decieving?

We heard all these things before and will hear them again and the more how closer we get to Jesus His return---the devil knows his time is short, we should be praising God for all the things He has done!!

Why don't we just stick close to our Bible read our Bible ask the Holy Spirit to lead us in all truth?

We know there are lots of decievers in the world, and the sad thing is that so many start sincere but they end up loving money more....

trust no men only God!!

Yeah Cats!

Keep coming up with those scriptural references. Maybe the Bible might change their minds. Then again, maybe not.

Brothers and Sisters:

Isn't it sad how Benny and others like him preach about nothing but money?

I was watching tv the other night and a preacher (lack of better words) were telling the audience if we sent him $1,000 God would bless us. Well I don't know about ya'll, my blessings come straight from JESUS!!!!

I was so UPSET; thinking of all the new believers and the older generation and praying they would not fall to his prey.

I tithe to my church; and also to some ministries that I feel really try to reach the hurting and lost in Christ.

Love Ya'll

Yes, yes... good answer everyone

Artsilady : Hank Hanegraff ? I am sorry but I never heard of him, ( I don't live in the States)

I was just referring to whoever opposes, condemn, or criticise B Hinn. Perhaps you missed my point just as the others did. I don't care for Mr Hinn, in fact I cannot stand watching his preaching stile for longer than 2 minutes, but my discomfort comes from the way he works his audience, I don't really like showman's preachers even if they preach fundamental truths, much less if they depart from the truth on very dangerous ground. And B Hinn is not the only one I dislike, we have our very own showman preacher down under, and he sticks to the bible as far as I can discern yet I still don't like him.

The point I am making (and most outraged answers prove I am too close for comfort), is that many if not most people I know that talk against B.Hinn, do so because they are horrified at the thought of a preacher that has money. A preacher in most people's mind is poor, struggles to make ends meet, lives off donations that always scarce keep him lean and dressed in second hand clothes.

Anything that departs from such image of virtuous poverty is offensive and needs to be pointed at with accusing fingers.

Now before you start jumping up and down further, let me clarify that I have not just mad up this facts, it happen to be my job to note this things.

I run a business that makes me a decent amount of money and part of such business is running personal development seminars. In such seminars, I get a daily dosis of questions about money and ethics of earning money, about riches and rich people versus poor people, abundance and scarcity, blessings and catastrophes, economic myths and economic fallacies. When not all my audience is Christian, at a guess probably half is. I must say that it is Christians who (in general) display the most deep rooted misconceptions about money I have resumed in a simple sentence: Rich is evil and poor is virtuous.

I must say to my audience

marc, we've given you the reasons for our dislike of him. why do you seem to discount the reasons we've given and insisted that it's all money, as if we're all lying to you in our responses?

do you not think a christian can be legitimately outraged by someone preaching false doctrines and giving false prophecies?

i have to admit, i'm shaking my head in absolute astonishment at you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
