Benny Hinn and Jesse Dupaint[?] they talk and order God what to do. But this never worked,it is the other way around and yes, there are people getting healed but also there are those false claims.. The Lord can use you and me and whoever He wants to use for His purpose,we have to be careful not to get decieved by signs and miracles? Angels4u Angels4u?? more what on Hinn? Xan: Where did you glean that archangel escorting, colors they wear, etc..? To All: No one will be very popular for sticking solely to the Word and to Truth. Discernment ministry is one of the least popular of all and brings on a great deal of scoff and even cursing at times from those who are supposed to be brethren. Christ said it would be so, the Disciples and Paul experienced it. And, so have saints throughout time since. And, these days are darker and worse than ever. People will use a verse or two of Scripture about how you are judging yet ignore scores of passages being posted which support what the Word says. They all forget that when the "spirits are tested" against the Word, that is Righteous Judgement because it is Christ's Word that judges, not the messenger. Alas, the chosen in the OT scoffed, hated, cursed and even murdered the messengers then also. Why should it change now. God Bless.
Guest Xan
Cruise, I have learned that at a different time, of which is no longer a part of me. But if you must know, one of the many groups that teach about the escorting and the colours is the Golden Dawn. As far as I know, that particular sect is the only mystical group (other than Satanists) who actually believes in Yeshua, which actually makes them more deceptive than those who deny Him. As far as comparing Benny Hinn to the prophets of old, that would make an interesting discussion. Which of God's prophets ever taught against the Word of God? People did not like His prophets because to accept them would be to accept their teaching, which would convict them of their sins. What convictions has Hinn put on people that would make us react to him as the Isrealites did to the true prophets?
Guest GloryaRose
While I admit that I myself have not kept up with the teachings coming from Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland or other tv evangelists, I must say that I find these statements about what they supposedly believe and teach to be very one sided, and a little disturbing. Lots of people could mistake many things said by many preachers. These same crowds of people could then resort to verbal assault on preachers to try to justify that their misunderstandings have more substance than they really do. What is wrong with this is that it shows a lack of character on the part of the one who is quick to judge, ridicule, misunderstand and condemn. ALL christians have their faults. We are to look beyond them and see the best in eachother. We are to pray for eachother and not to ridicule and judge eachother. Jan Crouch and Tammy Faye with their overdone makeup are the object of alot of ridicule that is just plain cruel. Not at all Christian if you ask me. We should be praying for them. Not judging and ridiculing them because they are so highly visible that their faults are more noticable than our own. Lots of ministers make mistakes. Even the ones who are not on international television. Lots of ministers are tempted...and many of them fall into sin. We should be praying for them...not waiting for this to happen so we can prove our point. The simple truth is that while we may not appreciate their style or their methods, people like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copland and Jan Crouch have reached a whole lot more people with the Gosple than we ourselves ever will. If we want to inspect fruit...we should be inspecting our own fruit, and finding ways in which we can increase their harvest...not trampling on the fruit of other harvesters. It is easier to judge and to criticize others. Then it is to pray for those who serve the Lord in ways that we ourselves do not comprehend. It is easier to ridicule others than it is to take responsibility for our own fruitlessness and do something about the harvest of the Lord. :inlove: GloryaRose
