Camilla pulls out of Diana Memorial

Seems Camilla Parker Bowles has finally recognized the fact that most people here in Britain don't want anything to do with her.

Myself, I have never had much time for the woman. I would hate to see her as Queen of this country. (Perish the thought)

Come to think of it, I would hate to see Charles as King.

Don't know why, but I think the younger generation (following Queen Elizabeth II), don't represent much of a respectable monarchy.

Don't mind if I don't get many supporting replies to this. I have never had much time for either Charles or Camilla. I think that Queen Elizabeth (though I am not a monarchist) represented the last true, honourable, rightful person on the throne of England.

Though, as I stated earlier, I wouldn't much mind if I was alone in my assertions here......it's great to see that somebody else in this 'green and pleasant land' sees some sense

Neither Charles nor Cammyknickers should EVER be used to represent the people of Britain .....He is NOT fit to "rule" and I think that is the reason that his mother has not retired in his favour ....I do not think the people would accept his former mistress as queen ..she had the chance to marry him many years ago and turned him down then went on to commit adultery ruining both her own and his marriage. William and Harry are in a very difficult postition as if they reject her it would split the country and cause even more trouble and they have had more than enough of that in their lives .

I agree........with one exception. I don't think that even Prince William should be King.

I think that Queen Elizabeth should hold on until her last dying breath.

After that, who knows??

I am not sure that we can afford to have a president and as Dianas son William is popular and has had some good values drummed into him ....and at least he has not got a father who is a bully which has a LOT to do with the way Charlie acts

For once, Camilla has made a good decision. For her to make a showing at a memorial for the woman, some of whose unhappiness was directly linked to Camilla's consorting with Charles, would be a travesty.
