Have We Lost Our Public Schools

I feel like I live in an Insane world!

I am so sad about our Public Schools! How can one be sane and hand out birth control to 11 year old children, yes children and condoms to 11 year old boys! They must be making a small size condom for these boys! How can this be and why?

How long must my people who are called by my name keep silent!

1. They took me out of schools, public buildings, Government offices and man has almost taken me out of my churches.

Oh the pain of it all!

I know I've said it before, but I've been through public schools, and praise the Lord I'm finally in my last year of this literally, God-forsaken, place.

I'm truly not surpised that they give condoms and contraceptives to middle schoolars... at my school, I know that if you ask the school nurse for condoms, they will give you an entire box. In health class, we watch videos about how to use those contraceptives, such as how to put what where, when, HOW (using pictures, diagrams, videos, etc), how long, etc... they promote the use of these.

Currently, we are learning about them in my biology class, and we have to have labeled disgrams of various parts of the male and female body and I'm wondering what else we are goign to have to see. I'm truly not surprised.

They also teach that homosexuality is NOT a sin, that is natural, different ways it CAN be natural such as a particular fluid left after the first child is born that the second child (the next fertlized egg) picks up that can then cause the child to be homosexula, etc.

We are taught that we coudl ahve come from space, or from single cell organisms. We are taught that sexula reproduction evolved from such and such, and we came to be through variations throughout time. We are taught taht God's creation could have come to be as it did, and though we told they are only teaching theory and have NEVER taught it as fact, they in fact, teach it as a fact, and nothing else.

I remember last year, going through a bunch of hassle becuase I couldn't read a book in english class that talked about the various aspects of a woman during sexual acitivity, which was described in grave detail which appealed to the various sense. The description of a rape in a book in 9th grade, etc... sexual acitivty with dead corpses... I'm seriously no longer surprised with what the school system does.

However, we shoudl never become indidfferent to it, and always remember that it has been going so much more downhill since God was taken out of schools.

We have no "lost" our public schools because God's hand can still do oh so much and we need more Christians who are willing to stand, at least for those who are there.

I also feel wonder if I will ever send my own children to a public school becuase of the immoralities there... teacher turn their heads to smoking, drinking, sex... students make out in the hallways and there is a specific room in our school where a lot of immoral acts take place (supposedly).

Public schools today are the devil's education system where he teachers that one can not KNOW there is a God, that we came from apes, thus showing htat abortion is moral (we are just random creations from an ape, we do;nt have a purpose so it's okay to kill them!) and since there are no morals, we have to create a set of morals for ourselves. We are taught to question authority and I just sat through two classes on 'morality" where we are taught where lying is considered "justified". Organized religion, the Bible, and any theory of God is considered unscientific and not provable, thus, invalid.

We think society is on a moral downward spiral, but it only gets worse as our public schools are teaching OUR children things so much worse than what we see in society today.

We homeschooled years ago and after that we put our kids into a Christian school. I don't know what I would do if they gave my daughter birth control pills at 11 years of age! It's an outreage!

I just wonder how many children and teachers must die in vain because of what we do not do as Christan's by standing up for whats right and holy.

Oh my God I feel the pain of the people who cannot afford to pay for a home school course or private school.

Careful who you "demand" the help from, if the help comes from the feds or the state, you may find yourself forced to do the exact thing you objected to in the schools.

What if people cannot afford home school?

Perhaps you could ask around to see if somebody who's homeschooling their kids would teach your kids, too. I know that's a bit of a stretch, but it's a thought.

Careful who you "demand" the help from, if the help comes from the feds or the state, you may find yourself forced to do the exact thing you objected to in the schools.

Homeschooling is easier than you might imagine. Many areas have great support groups and I know of some people who pool their abilities (if you are good a math, you teach that on Monday, and someone else who is good at history teaches that on Tuesday, etc.) It is a commitment and sometimes you have to take a financial hit. But in my family it was much wiser to give up the second car and such things, than to give my daughter to the wolves. In California, now, it is against the law to say "mom" or "dad" in order to not offend certain groups. Condoms are handed out to children because the school has decided to teach them how to have sex and call it "sex education" (yes I know it is a natural urge, but at 11 years old nobody should need a condom). It is illegal for a teacher to pray with a child, but must teach them alternative lifestyles. I can get on a rant over this. Christians really need to take back our rights. We need to pray. Earnestly pray for our children. And no, I do not want government help in financing my homeschooling. That way I can use the Bible as a textbook, and use my Christian based cirriculium.

I am sorry if I am sounding off here, but our children are so important and we just can't loose them.

I live in CA and I have NEVER heard of this (and I teach in the public schools).
