Wondering about the Universe

I personally do not believe that there are other civilizations like the one we have on earth where there are humans running around the same as we do. The purpose of the other planets in the universe is an answer only God knows but I'm quite sure that he did not create an Adam and Eve for each of them. Seems to me if he had experimented with life on other planets that he would've mentioned it somewhere in the bible which to my knowledge he doesn't. And yes I know people can take things from the bible and morph them into whatever they want them to be but I'm talking about specifically saying "God Created Humans On Other Planets".

As far as spiritual beings that's more than my tiny human brain can comprehend and I don't even try to question things like that. If I was meant to know about the Universe and the purpose for all the things within it then God would have given humans that knowledge but he didn't so instead we rely on estimated guesses from scientists. One day the Lord will explain it all to us but until then I choose to focus all my time on praising and worshiping him rather than trying to figure out something I wasn't meant to know about.

I do believe, though, that there are spiritual intelligent beings............angels and demons........as the bible says.

I don't suppose they live on actual, physical planets, though.

No. I believe there are other planets that have life, but that we are the only one that fell.

I am reminded of Psalm Psalms 131 -

1 Lord, my heart is not haughty,

Nor my eyes lofty.

Neither do I concern myself with great matters,

Nor with things too profound for me.

2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,

Like a weaned child with his mother;

Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 O Israel, hope in the Lord From this time forth and forever.

I know it is fun to speculate things and try to figure things out, but at the same time I accept that there are some things that are beyond our knowing - and beyond what we are meant to know.

The Lord never revealed the knowledge of planets, the solar system and the galaxy in Scripture - and thus how they fit into the grand scheme of things - nor did He reveal all there is to know about angels and demons, nor the "physics" of the spiritual realm.

Thus, we need to be careful about such speculations. Keep it on the level of guessing and speculating, but be on guard about fitting it into any theology, or making a theology out of it. And always remember that there are some things that are meant to be "sealed" from us (refer to when the Lord told Daniel to seal the words of prophecy), and thus pursuing such things will prove fruitless.

That is my suggestion.

These are spiritual beings, not physical beings, referred to here in the passage.

I don't have a problem with spiritual beings traveling . . . anywhere.

I have a problem, though, with the claim that what we call angels and demons are actually aliens. At least that is what it sounds to me Hawkeye was claiming.

Wrong! The question was made about "Intelligent Beings". Satan....as well as the Sons of God are intelligent beings. I'm suggesting nothing outside of scripture.

It wasn't that long ago, someone was promoting this as doctrine. I read your words as a resurgence of this.
