Tribulation and How Close

Shouldn't we be getting ourselve and others ready regardless of when it is?

I don't intend to be here for the tribulation or the pretrib

Unless the tribulation is not in our life time we will be here ,whether we intend to be here or not

But I do believe it will be in our lifetime

First of all, its nice to see this questioned asked. So many people are afraid to ask this or speak about it. As if a curse will befall us....here's my thoughts................

*with a reminder Matthew 24:36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

I personally believe we are very close at hand. My reasons for this are as follows;

* I realize that every generation says "this is it", however, as we look to the signs that WERE LEFT FOR US each one is passing before our eyes. I can start listing them for you, but I'm sure you know what the signs are

* Outside of Worthy, people that I talk with are having dreams based on the " end ", some type of rapture taking place.

* Most are fimilar with all the calendars ending in the year 2012, and 2012 is the next alignment of the Earth with the center of the galaxy. Maybe it means nothing ( note the heavens aka stars ) or maybe something.

No one knows the date...I agree ! I have read that passage as well

But I believe G-d gave us common sence. Too many things are happening for this all to be a coincidence.

I'm thinking around 2012..but praying for it any day now. BE READY !

Whats up with the December 21st, 2012 date? I've never heard of that before, lol.

It is based on a misunderstanding of the Mayan calendar. The Mayan concept of time was very similar to Hindu concept of time. It is believed to be cyclical rather than a 'straight line.'

In fact the similarities are so profound as to make me think the Mayans may well have originated in the Indian subcontinent, around the time of the Aryan conquest of the indiginous Dravidian peoples.

They Mayan belief knows nothing of any 'end of the world.' They rather believe that 21 December 2012 is the end of this particular age, and that a new era begins.

Ok no one knows when Jesus returns, but we can take a guess right, Someone told me in a few years, and I have heard after president election and I have heard that were already in pre tribulation.

This is not a debate. Lets call it a guessing game. and please be honest.

OK I'll be the postive one! I believe that God wants as many Christians to be with HIM in HIS Kingdom, And I believe that we as a people who believe in HIM , should try to concentrate on being and showing the world how good it is to be Christians by loving all who come against us . And if we do succeed in changing the course of a nation........kudos for us and for those who converted into wanting to served HIM. And onlly HE knows the answer to that, so if anyone does not have their house in order, I suggest you begin now and stay on the straight and narrow path. Only a few will enter the Kingdom, but compared to the billions and billions who have lived I'm sure the "few" HE speaks of is quite significant.
