mmmmm I know a friend who said it was -11 in scotland the other night. We have been lucky here in Shetland its been about 2 or 3 degrees during the night and 5 or 6 during the day. So pretty good for this time of year.

Since I live in Texas I was appalled to wake up to cold weather this morning! It's going to be down in the twenties tonight. Then I started thinking 'maybe I ought to be glad it's only in the twenties'; I sometimes forget that, though we are blessed with warm weather here most of the year, most of the country is not. I'm curious to know the temperature where the rest of you are...........???

Going down to the upper 30's and lower 40's at night here in Arizona. Even colder in the higher elevations.

I used to live in Alexandria, LA and spent time going back and forth between there and Houston. 20's for your area is COLD!

Yes; even forty degrees is cold down here. I ran the heat about an hour last week, at night, and then I ran it again last night. I swear that unit will still be new if I live here for fifty years!

I just moved from Chicago to TX, so cold is relative. This is like a tiptoe through the tulips for us

Here in KC we have had several snows this month and a white christmas, but while its been cold, we have not had any bitterly cold below zero stuff yet. Mainly just a lot of teens and twenties.

It has been record breakingly warm here.

We have had 3 snowfalls so far. Two of them hardly existed (like half an inch, tops), and the other one was like an inch and a half. The coldest it has been is like -4 fahrenheit... and the average is right around freezing point (I have no idea what they is in fahrenheit)
