The one thing about Kenneth Copeland that I have a problem with, is what he said, and I have it on tape. He said that God was the biggest failure of all. He also said, that Jesus went to hell when He died and He let the devil drag him around and treated Him like He was a worm. How blasphemas! Jesus went to Abraham's Bosom when He died. His suffering was before the cross and on the cross. On that tape,I have Mr. Copeland laughing uncontrolably {holy laughter} which is not scriptural at all,and he was laying on the floor and rolling. He is a false teacher.

I'm sure everybody knows someone that gets under their skin, or irritates them in some way, or has done things to hurt you. I've had experience with a few of those type of people, and even though they are a brother/sister in Christ, I don't really 'like' them all that much. I love them in Christ, but really do not like the way they act, and the way they treat others, and therefore do not enjoy being around them. Is this wrong? How have you handled situations with people like that. I know praying for them is good, but physically, in everyday life, how do you handle it?

I would question whether or not they were reallly Christians to begin with.

I think as long as you respect a person, there is no need for worry. Once you get to the point of hating someone, however, there is a need to worry. I believe that we are ALL required to love people no matter what, but just because we love them doesn't mean we have to "like" them, pursey. You like people because yhtey share traits and interests that you may find favor with. Love, however, is a lil more global. Love is absolutely unselfish, undeniable....and without any motivation, reason, or purpose all out together! :noidea:

So, if you must keep your distance away from some people, there is no harm or shame in that, but at the same time, we are still required to respect each and every person even if we do not receive respect in return. That's called practicing "agape" love. :il:

I am gonna ask you all to please pray and I mean pray, before you name or call people out as false.

There is to much at stake to be wrong. If your gonna say you've got a tape of Kenneth Copeland saying God is the biggest failure, then make that tape available to all of us to judge. I wanna know what he said before and after that statement. I also wanna know when and at what church he said it.

Someone also said Benny Hinn prophesied that all gay people would die in the 90s. I don't believe he said it. Give me some references...date, time, where and when.

I'm not a big fan of these men but I've heard them enough to demand from anyone who calls themselves Christian to give proof to the body.

Paul said show no contempt for prophecy but test everything and take the good. Do you know why he said that? Because God said he would pour out his spirit on all flesh in the last days. Paul had a revelation of something we need to understand, people were gonna make mistakes . In the old testement prophets were raised as holy men from birth. If they prophesied wrong they would be stoned. Now we are speaking mysteries of God but we are undiciplined. "Your sons and daughters will prophesy" If my 11 year old son prophesied something false, should I come on here and tell you not to ever trust what he says? Lord help us!!

How many times in our Christian walk were we wrong when we were just talking to people about God?

I also want you all to understand that real people who worship satan will infiltrate the church to accuse and to bring discord to the brethren. I'm not chasing demons in the church but I understand how he(the devil) operates. Anyone could visit this message board and be anyone they want. Who do I look at as maybe being false? People who easily accuse or talk bad about other Christians!!!!!!!!!!.... yet I will still walk in the mercy of God to them also.

Please, before you accuse...check your heart and pray. I've been a Christian for over 20 years and I've said some goofy things. Thank God for his mercy.

Also: If your gonna accuse a preacher of being false, you owe it to the body to tell us who YOU ARE and WHAT CHURCH YOU ATTEND and WHO IS YOUR PASTOR!!!!!

if a person has the date that this peticular program aired, then you can order the tape, or if you have a title of the message that was given, then again you can order a copy.......

something to also think about, if a person did say something, was every one listening and the person may have been using the phrase in a sarcastic way, or to make a point.... we must be carful not to take things out of context....

personnally, i do not listen to either of them, I have heard Kenneth preach, but never have even heard the voice of Benny speak, dont know what he looks like, dont know what he sounds like, dont know nutten about him...

I almost hate to do this, but here are 2 links. One for Benny H., and one for Copeland. They list the exact tape the quotes came from, and have a lot of audio clips you can hear. On my computer, I had to let it load 2 or 3 times before I could hear it smoothly. In particular you might want to listen to the one of B. Hinn's that sounds like he's saying "demon, demon, demon, glory, glory, glory". There's a lot of Copeland's also. These links also have pictures of these two, and pictures and quotes from many others.

Like I said, I almost hate to put this here, as it should be in a completely separate thread, but here they are:

Actually, that's nothing unique. The idea of Jesus going to hell is in the Apostles' Creed. Not saying I believe that, but Copeland is hardly alone in this. This creed is subscribed by hundreds of denominations all over the world.

"I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is....The biggest one in the whole bible is God....I mean, He lost His top-ranking, most anointed angel; the first man He ever created; the first woman He ever created; the whole earth and all the Fullness therein; a third of the angels, at least--that's a big loss, man. • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
