Could the Holy Spirit be speaking to your heart?

:il:

(that's how it works, He speaks to us and sometimes it doesn't feel too good......that's called conviction.)

I've been there, and you're right, it doesn't feel too good, but it's still TRUTH.

So, what do ya do about it?

In His Love,

Suzanne

Do you think that a new church of courageous and faithful Christians will come together, to fight what seems to be a normal way of living into day's world?

Snowdoove

If they do around here, I most likely will start going to church again......

There are sins of ignorance which will not be held to your account until you are convicted of them by hearing The Work and it is quickened to you by The Holy Spirit. There are reactionary sins that are very hard for us to control as they are programed into our automatic response mechanism over our life spans. But we have the promise that we can't be tempted above what we are able to bear, and our faithful Lord has provided a way out, so we have to stand up and fight for victory. Then there are willfull sins, the ones you know are sins and you exercist your freewill to choose to commit them. These last are the ones that can take you to the point of no return, and out of God's salvation process. We can all be successful if we will set our will to the two great commandments, love God, and neighbor. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't have the personal will power to do it. Read about the tower of Babel in your Bible, and know the power of the human will that is set on something. The bottom line of course is that you can be perfect as Christ was while He was here, because HE SAID YOU WILL DO ALL THINGS I HAVE DONE. You can't get any better assurance. So when you stumble get up brush off your knees with confession and repentance, and take another step. You are in a battle for your eternal souls kingdom existence, the Kindom of God or the kingdom of satan. So everyday before you start out go to ephesians 6 and pray on the whole armor of God, and go kick some enemy butt.

The sin that I am talking about is adultery, fornication and not observing Sabbath days

Colossians 2 "16 Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day--

17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

Just thought I would point that out first.

As for those who are in sin and claim Christ Savior... Let James speak to them (a faith that yeilds no works, is dead) I suppose this is a start... let me know if you have questions about that.

mcm42~

My question to you is - "Does this mean you condone adultery, fornication and not keeping the Sabbath, (which by the way is not Sunday.)

The Jewish disciples kept the Sabbath which has always been on Saturday.

A Catholic Bishop changed it to Sunday.

My second question is - If know one speaks to the people who are committing these sins, how will they be saved?

I am not judging these people however I don't condone what they are doing either.

This can be a little confusing, however I hope you understand where I am coming from and where I am going.

You refer to letting James speak to them. However, if they are leading an open life of sin, do you actually believe that they are reading their Bibles?

situation #1

your mother and father are in a nursing home,

The Church finally won over the government to restrict all work on sunday, meaning no one is to work, but if they leave their home they may go to church.

what is going to happen to your mother and father, for they are not able to prepare their own meals, or clean them selves or change their own cloths... and for you to do it would be not only going against working on Sunday, but also going against the laws that was enacted..... the nurses are unable to go to work cause they are forbidden to work on sunday...

situation #2

some people, no matter what the law says, will be out breaking the laws.... robbing, killing, raping, so forth and so on.... but being we are forbidden to work on sunday, the police have to stay home..... oh, one of the robbers just set your house on fire and you are in it..... the fire department personel are all in church, and well, they are forbidden to work on sunday also..... the ambulance people??? yea them too...

folks...... I do not condone working on any day.... lol..... but being we have not followed the Lord for so long ( man kind ) we all have forgotten what it is really like to rely on God to take care of us entirely from day to day, for food, water, cloths, and shelter.... we say we do, but we really are relying on man.....

do we prepare food on sunday???? oooops.... that goes against the laws..... for there is tooo much work involved..... do we walk very much to get to our car to go to church?.... wow, hope you didnt walk too far, cause we are only allowed to walk so far on the sabbath..... that is with out stopping, and resting and eating something every so many yards of distance.....

did we forget to go to church every sabbath( sunday)??

did you know that most people that went to the Temple traveled for one or more days to get there and then traveled one or more days to go home???? wow.... three days or more out of a week just to go to church.... what dedication.....

are we suppose to keep one day a week set aside for the Lord????

or are we suppose to keep sevin days aweek set aside for the Lord???

one or two hours one day a week??? or 24 / 7????

my choice is 24/7 working or not, I can worship, pray, and praise the Lord continuously.......

if I do not have to work ( emergancy calls only ) on sunday, i dont....

Snow, those who have real relationship with Yeshua will not continue in open sin of any kind. To me that means that those so doing simply do not have that relationship. Did they ever?? I don't know. We all fall short and can be guilty of some falling into sin, but to live in it continually or for a lengthy time brings into doubt the very nature of who we are. It would be a fearful thing.

I also agree with you that the Sabbath is not Sunday. However the Lord has been very gracious and many who have not had a right understanding of this have yet been in fellowship with Yeshua. More and more are coming to understand and observe the Sabbath of the Lord, but it seems to be as He leads them to it.

Did you happen to read my post regarding the Sabbath? If you did and this is your reply, then you totally missed what I said. Please go back and read it, it is about loving our brothers that we observe the Sabbath and loving God. Why do you think this particular commandment was put in the middle of ALL of the commandments?

You do what I'm speaking of, because you love and care for your brothers and neighbors. It's about love!

For Your Information~

I wrote an email to the Stewarton Bible School in Scotland.

In the email I wrote how I had shared with you the Sermon #507 - Elijah.

I told them your feelings and thoughts and how you advised me to keep my eyes focused on Yeshua. To share the "Good News" of Jesus Christ, a not the message of Elijah.

Dying to self and choosing to live with Christ in my heart, is the best example one can give.

When and if, I hear back from them, I will pass the information on to you..

Peace of Christ,

Snowdoove

Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.

I think the Apostle Paul actually answered this question completely and succinctly about 2,000 years ago, when he wrote: "One man esteemeth one day above another, another man esteemeth all days equally. Let each one be fully persuaded in his own mind."

How long does it take Christians to catch on, AND DROP THE CONDEMNATION ON THE TOPIC?

With a blessing,

Leonard, a sinner

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
