The ark of the covenant

So sorry, I thought the thread was about Noahs Ark. Excuse me! Yes, I do know about the Ark of the Covenant. Interesting subject either way but definitely not the same thing.

Without looking it up, David brought it back to Jerusalem during his reign and I think Solomon had control over it too. I think it got lost in the shuffle after several attacks (Syrian?) and hasn't been seen since. I don't think something like that could be hidden and known about for so long, but who's to say?

Yes, I think they are the same.

In Hebrews the same word that translates covenant is the same word that translates testament in Rev.

Be careful getting to wrapped up in the Ark of the Covenant.

Jeremiah 3:16  And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

The ark of the covenant was a foreshadow of things to come.

A nice young lady at The Temple Institute in Jerusalem told me that they know exactly where it is and are waiting for the right opportunity to get it. They don't want it to be discovered until there is a place for it.
