  1. I love God's Word and it will be as it is literally scripted... for this is it's intended purpose in the living 2 Ti 3:14-17 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 6. well . . . I have nothing for Thanksgiving, but have been working on various 3D printed projects with the intent of possibly selling them on Etsy. I have been learning how to 3D print for the last year and a half and have finally learned how to print some nice things. I would be interested to know what you think of them (please be honest). The cats can be customizable and the medallion is a coat of arms I made for a family member . . . . At the very least I have fun designing and printing . . . Have a great Thanksgiving!!! Grace and Peace . . . Ray

  7. I think it's bad to play semantics. No matter what you want to call him, I think Revelation is quite clear there WILL be a man who rules the earth that will be opposed to everything of God. He will commit unspeakable crimes against the human race and massacre millions of believers. I think Anti-Christ is a fitting term.,

  9. these truths have been submerged through the ages, and its no wonder the world has fallen into apostacy. Paul is the bridge between the Jewish nation and the Gentiles. before God commissioned Paul the world view was Jewish and nation based...if the Jews as a nation had accepted Christ as their Messiah then that would have been the completion but as we all know that wasnt to be. God, turned to the Gentiles and used Paul as the Apostle to the Gentiles so it turned from a nation getting saved to individual's getting saved. NB; Jews can get saved but they have to come through Paul who is the Apostle to the Gentiles. Peter cannot understand some of Paul's epistles because these were revealed directly to Paul from the Lord. However Peter is in agreement with Paul and says as much in Acts 15 along with the church council. so Paul is the real deal which is what set me off on this journey quite a while back now. before i studied Acts, Because i thought ok so why is mainstream Church Peter friendly, which got me thinking, why isnt Peter the one, after all he was one of Jesus' very own disciples. i wrestled with that for the longest time. and then i embarked on a study of Paul's epistles and started to 'see why' it is Paul and not Peter who is our Apostle for today because he has the central teachings of what it is to be a Christian. something which is absent with Peter and that is a big deal when you are struggling to make sense of the foundation of Christianity. Paul also warns us about these days, something which is lost on mainstream church. Paul had revelations by the Lord himself and God is not a liar so that is where i am now. its 'hard' to let go of the mainstream church, not that i was 'really into it.' i think, the messages i heard and kept were from childhood, because i went to church (under duress!) most Sunday's and was exposed to OT based preaching and wrong dispensational preaching, is it no wonder i felt contempt for church as a child...(sorry to say) and later as an adult when i got back into church i was reminded once again how austere church still is (Anglican church that is, along with being frightfully intellectually dry.) and so i tried the Pentecostal/Evangelical movement and at this time i was studying the bible in earnest so by easter of this year i fully could 'see' the errors of these movements.

  15. Have you heard of the `Courts of Heaven,` or the `Trading Floor of Heaven?` On the best seller book lists. I`m putting together some notes to show how these are Doctrines of Demons - lie upon lie and departing from the Faith. I want to do a detailed series on my blogs and also start a thread or two on this important topic. I believe it is the `final battle` we will have against the truth of God`s purposes for the Body of Christ in these days.

  16. Well, all that is revealed with the opening of the 7 Seals pertains to the natural wickedness of unregenerate humanity and God's Righteous Judgments upon it. This theme is a thread that runs right through the Bible, and many passages in Revelation cross-reference with OT passages. Only the Lamb that was Slain is worthy to open the seals, such is the polarisation between righteousness and unrighteousness. We join with the Heavenly Host in proclaiming "Worthy is the Lamb..."

  18. Hi mabel, I do understand what you are going through. The pain of looking at the horror in this world and then also the pain of desiring our family and friends to come to know the Lord. Now I have a few thoughts. Remember when you were a small girl and perhaps you hurt yourself and cut your leg. There was blood and pain. You cried and your father wanted to help you. But what if you ran away and hid. You still had the pain and it probably would get infected and worse. Your father wanted to help but you wouldn`t let him. That is like a picture of us and our heavenly Father. He wants to help us but we carry the pain in our hearts and eventually it makes our whole body sick. We are so distressed and can`t understand why God wont help us. But you see we have to come to the Father (through Jesus) and yield up all that pain to Him. He will carry it, He will heal and give you peace. BUT we have to let go of it! That is the trusting that we need to grow in, to trust the Lord more and more. praying, Marilyn.

  22. Hi Marilyn Isn't it strange - and to my shame - when I remember the amount of times I have read Philemon and never even thought of the illustration it was of Jesus' forgiveness toward us. Or I may have seen it and just forgotten over time, but I think I only ever meditated on the part Paul played in pleading for Onesimus before returning him to his master. Thanks for showing me the bigger picture.

  23. Hi SisterActs2, Yes, so true. I never really appreciated `Titus` till I looked into doing this study and researching more. I have learnt heaps as I`ve gone along. I so appreciate you, mabel and a few others doing the journey together. It has made me realise how God has unfolded His revelation of His Son to us, and through people in their everyday lives. If we can`t see God at work there, where can we. Marilyn.

  24. Yes, a similar situation to that which we see of Paul and Timothy. And how wonderful that Paul said to Titus "Let no one despise you.". Sometimes older Christians may be tempted to look down on younger ones who show signs of becoming very good leaders and teachers and overlook them. There is no doubt that Paul had a wonderful understanding on how to direct people to serve the Lord rightly.

  26. Hi Mabel Yes, Paul was "discipling" Timothy; helping him to grow into a man of God, as God would have required him to go on and fight the good fight after Paul had gone. He recognised that Timothy was someone he could trust with Godly wisdom; that Timothy would be a man God would use for great things - planting and leading churches with true doctrine, so invested his knowledge and wisdom into him. I agree - they did have a very close bond. How wonderful, as well, that way back when David and Jonathan were together they had such a wonderful friendship. Jonathan helped David to flee because he could see that his father had an irrational hatred and jealousy toward David. The Bible doesn't tell us what happened to a lot of people because some of it was written while they were still alive - but there are documents that were written that do record what happened to a lot of people. I think you are right about understanding straight away when the Lord convicts us that we get a check in our spirit - because we walk closely with Him and hear his admonishment to us, and apply that conviction in order to avoid going down the wrong path. We listen to the Spirit of God when He speaks to us and don't allow the brain to rationalise things away like the world does. You are right. Marilyn, what do you think sis?

  27. Hi Marilyn How wonderful for Paul to have had someone like Timothy on board! What a support he proved to be. No wonder Paul calls him "my true son in the faith". The advice Paul gave Timothy as a young man would have been wonderful, as a father lovingly instructs his son in wisdom.

  28. Yes, Marilyn, my analogy is that they are "feeding on artificial grass" - it has no truth or nutrition whatsoever. Jesus is our treasure in heaven and no amount of earthly things can measure up to Him...... in fact shouldn't even be included in the same sentence.

  30. Hi mabel and SisterActs, Thanks for your encouragement and so glad you are learning (as I did) more of God`s word and the Lord. 33. Hi mabel, I quite understand what you are saying. However....we need always remember that God`s hand of mercy is always outstretched - till someone`s dying breath. It is often said that in wars there are no atheists. As to those in deception now, well if they really want the truth then God leads them to people who will open it up to them, (per you). Also in the tribulation there is a great multitude that no one can count. How big is that - billions, and they are going through - hunger, heat and thirst, and thus are faced with the reality of death & they do cry out to God, it says. So even while God is bring judgments upon man`s rebellious world system, His hand of mercy is still there. We need to realise that some people want their own way, (& not God`s) and are so hard hearted that they want it forever - ie. their own way. Good to read your thoughts sis, Marilyn.

  34. I try and look at denominations as different flowers in God's garden. We all like some flowers better than others and may prefer our own garden to be populated by certain kinds but to me it's like the apostles, they were all different, some would have been easier to get on with than others.

  36. Well, not quite. It is according to what you think was His proclamation and the meaning thereof. That's why there is still a mistake pending to be revealed in your testimony while seeking Truth and seeking YHVH'S KIngdom. I have no idea where you got those idea(s), and perhaps to you they glisten like real diamonds, but they are cz (cubic zirconia/ fake diamonds), and this can probably be shown gradually even on this forum, though I am not sure of that, to your saitsfaction of what is actually true.

  39. Hi Fred, like you, I only just came across this blog entry this year, in my case because I am new to Worthy. That said, I would like to comment on Omegaman's blog entry And your comment on it. On the whole I appreciate what Omegaman wrote and am in agreement with him; on the whole. I believe "Denominations" are an unfortunate reality but need not always be a divisive factor. This leads me to your comment. You are correct that "we are the body of Christ," but you deny that very truth right before speaking it by saying, "we are not the church." The "Church" and the "Body of Christ" are synonymous, they are the same thing by different titles. Anyway, that self-contradiction is part of the reason we have denominations. If we cannot even be consistent in our own thoughts and understandings, then how are we all, as the Body, to be consistent and united? And so, while it is correct to say that the Bible, God's Word is "the proper forum for the truth, when properly defined translated," who determines what "properly defined" is? Who determines what properly "translated" is? And on what basis? When you write that "There is false teaching in every denomination," you are correct. The reason for that is simple, no one, no individual, no denomination has a 100% Accurate Understanding of God and His Word. God is infinite as is His wisdom and knowledge whereas we are finite. Our finite minds are simply incapable of comprehending all there is of God, His nature, His plan, His ways, etc. Our ability, our attempts to understand God, while in this flesh, is going to be limited. Think about it. God is infinite while we are finite. The difference between God and us is the difference between finite and infinite, which is to say infinite. That is not to say we can not understand anything about God. We can. Even unbelievers can understand some things about God because He reveals Himself through His creation, cf. Psa 19:1; 97:6; Romans 1:18ff. Then there is the fact that He also reveals Himself through His Word. But again, even there we have an infinite God being revealed through a finite means: Human Communication. Omegaman is spot on when he says, " People like to gather with others who are like them, the feel comfortable and part of something. " That is a part of our very human nature. We naturally tend to gather with those who are "like us," who think "like us." And since there is no one who has a 100% correct understanding of God and His Word, we will naturally tend to gather with those who's limited understanding most corresponds with our own. That is not to say we are divided against our brethren who disagree in non-essentials. Myself, I consider myself a ReformedBaptiCostal. That said, I am most comfortable in a Reformed Church but will, if there is not one around, attend a Baptist Church or even a conservative Lutheran church or so-called, "non-denominational" church. Denominations exist because of our own incomplete understanding of God, that's all. There is nothing for the Denominations to "pay for" at the "proper time." Denominations are not what cause division within the Body but are a reflection of it. As long as we members of the Body can remember what I believe it was Augustine said, "In the essentials unity, in non-essentials, liberty, and in all things charity," then we'll be ok. In that light, let us come together, study God's Word and where there are differences in understanding, let "iron sharpen iron" that we might all learn and grow closer together in our Lord.

  41. Mabel, if you read God`s word with those 3 groups in mind, then God`s word become quite clear. 1. The Body of Christ, (us) 2. Israel, 3. The Nations, (Gentiles) People either lump us all together, or put us with Israel, or the nations, and thus end up in the eschatological `soup.`

  44. Hi Dennis, Thank you for your thoughts. I like your description of the inner & outer ring of Islam. Now as to Ps. 83 I believe it has already happened. Will not discuss it here but perhaps on a thread in the eschatology section where we all can have input. That is a good point concerning the food, as per Russia. So true. Then when I saw you mention `hair cuts` do you know that when the next GFC (Global Financial Crisis) comes then banks will give `hair cuts` to those with over `$ 100,000` in their account. Banks believe that the money we put in their trust, is us investing in their business, and if they are in trouble, well...we have to help out! regards, Marilyn.

  45. Hi mabel, I believe it is. That is what I see in God`s word, & was taught by teachers back in the `60`s. So it is not some new fangled theory. Anyway we are seeing God`s word played out before us. The most difficult thing is that everyday life goes on and we are tricked by that. Somehow we think we should see the world falling apart and someone standing up controlling everyone. But that is fantasy. The vultures are gathering up north of Israel, as we can see & the Peace Negotiator will come in with charisma and deception. God`s clock is ticking.......Marilyn.

  47. Hi mabel, Some good thoughts there, sis. Now concerning Adam (& Eve). They were created good and had a relationship with God, their creator. They were moral beings as having a free will (given by God) they could choose to obey God or disobey God. Thus they were vulnerable. So when the `testing` time came, they chose to disobey God, but were deceived into thinking it was not really serious. (you shall not die....) That is why we don`t trust our sinful desires but look to Jesus to `keep us from falling...` (Jude24) We may fall down but with the Lord we are not knocked out. He will help us up again and we learn to make the right choices, a step at a time, till we go to be with Him. Yes you are right, Lucifer was already fallen and revealed his character as the `serpent of old,) (Rev. 12: 9) who knew man`s vulnerability and brought out his tactic of deception. Lucifer fallen - Satan, is headed for the lake of fire, down, down down. He was close to the very throne of God but turned away. Whereas man because God brought in death, we can be changed, we do not have to be in this fallen state forever. You are right concerning Ishmael. However some of his descendants, Arabs have chosen to follow Islam. Other people have chosen this as well. When you read further in this series you will see when the religion of Islam began. all the best, Marilyn.

  49. Sorry to not respond in a timely manner, I did not realize that anyone was commenting or even finding this posting. I am not sure, from what you wrote in it's entirety (that I did not quote about) that you really disagree wholeheartedly, since much of what you said is along the same spirit that I said. Where I will disagree (somewhat) with your disagreement, is with your comment that that denominations CAUSE divisions. I think the cause is, that some Christians are operating too much in the flesh. I attend a church, where I disagree with some things that my pastor says, and with what many in the rest of the body there believe. I have these dine with these people, and they with me. We support each other with prayer, with our efforts, and with our funds as seems good. The are my friends and family. I came to that church, from a different denomination, that believes and practices things differently. They also are my family. There are many local churches, that I have never attended, that are my brothers and sisters in Christ, they are also my family. I am separated from them physically by distance, but we are NOT divided. When I send money to support hurting churches, in other parts of the country or the world, I do that because they also are family, which I have never met, but we were united when the Father adopted us as His children. Division is not, in my opinion, caused by denominations, division is when shallow Christians are more devoted to their denominations, than they are to the body of Christ. That is a choice, no one is divided, unless they cut their brothers and sisters off, an ultimately, if and when we do that, where does the fault lie? Is Christ divided? I do not think so. Are we not his body? Yes! If we are not united, then that means that some of us, have performed a self amputation. They will know we are Christians by our love! Thank you for reading and your thoughtful comments on my blog.
