  1. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19). We are suppose to baptize in the Name of the Trinity.
  2. Original Sin is supported by Genesis 3, Romans 5, and “20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.” (Romans 8:20-23)
  3. Easter is Passover Fuffiled. Jesus took the Middle Matza that was always broken and hidden for the children to find and held it up and said, “This is my body broken for you.” Jesus fufilled the Feasts: Passover -He passes over our sins and stopped the angel of death’s power over us (Hebrews 2) especially the Second Death. Unleaven Bread -Jesus is the Mana from Heaven (John 8) Tabernacles -He was born during this, God tabernacling with us (Immanuel God with us) The Day of Atonement was fufilled by Christ atoning for our sins once for all time (Hebrews 9) Feast of First Fruits is fufilled by Jesus who says, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”(John 15:4-5) Pentecost was fufilled by The Holy Spirit in Acts 2 coming down on all the disciples at Pentecost. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, 15:26) but also breathed Him on the apostles (John 20:20-23). The Feast of Trumpets is not yet fufilled, but will be fufilled by Jesus, “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). There are seven trunpets (Revelation Chapters 8-11).
  4. Indeed, but it is unprecendented that such diverse people are getting a year. As I said before, the predictions are normally one guy who is selling something; a book or airline tickets.
  5. Oneday Chicken Little will be right about the sky falling: “the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken” (Mark 13:25).
  6. Chicken Little doing the dance.
  7. Anything that bad happens is because of this: “20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
  8. Original Trinity Hymnal, #87 Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee; Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity! Holy, Holy, Holy, all the saints adore thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, Who wert, and art, and evermore shalt be. Holy, Holy, Holy, though the darkness hide thee, Though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see, Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee Perfect in power, in love, and purity. Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise thy Name, in earth and sky and sea; Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
  9. What I love about the English langauge: Sin is in Sinister evil is in devil God and good are one letter apart.
  10. There are those who sing like sparrow and Jay birds, and those who sing like Nightingale.. :p XD
  11. Very intriguing. Is there signigance to the hours of Jesus’ crucifixion and death?: “In Mark 15:25 crucifixion takes place at the third hour (9 a.m.) and Jesus' death at the ninth hour (3 p.m.)”
  12. I’ve read that. 7 is completion 40 is judgement (Israelites 40 days in wilderness) etc.
  13. Well friendship is there too: “No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you..” (John 15:15) “And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.” (Jamws 2:23) “You are my friends if you do what I command you.” (John 15:14) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)
  14. A great segway to evangelize Muslims is that in their Koran is books in heaven, and we csn tell them, there is an important book in Heaven, The Lamb’s Book of Life, to be added in it you must caste off Allah, and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your God and Savior.
  15. What is intriguing is when you worship and reverence Him the intimacy flows more strongly; I personally have had the most precious visitations and experiences during worship.
  16. Interesting, and One of Jesus’ names is Son of Man, and on the 6th Day God created Man, which leads to God later in 33 A.D. becoming a Man to die for our sins. Jesus even refers to hinself as The Son of Man in his End Times explanation: “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:30) I usually am not into numerology, but that is intriguing.
  17. Amen! So often we get into Buddy Jesus, He’s my pal, and He is indeed these, but He is also God, along with God the Father and God The Holy Spirit, One God in Three Persons. There is a part of our relationship with God Almighty that demands we “bow”, recognize He is God and we His creation. i.e. Reverence and respect. We are the Bride of Christ (Revelation 19:6-11) and God is our husband, but unlike earthly spouses, our Husband is also our Creator, and this brings a unique element to the relationship where we worship him and bow; reverence His holy Name: “10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created." (Revelation 4:10-11)
  18. People have predicted the Return of Christ since 33 A.D. Even Martin Luther thought it would be in his lifetime. Each year someone seems to predict the return and sell plane tickets to Jerusalem. What is unique about the 2022 predictions is they are by diverse groups such as rabbis, pastors, and even unbelievers like Muslims and secularists; remember the Magi were astrologers and they were lead by the Star of Bethlehem to Jesus’ birth. Usually predictions of Christ’s return are from one person, a minister or pastor, but there are actually a diversity of predictors from rabbis to russian bishop and beyond: A Rabbi says Jesus will return in 2022: https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.yahoo.com/amphtml/jesus-second-coming-occur-2022-122435086.html Muslim Imam says Jesus will return 2022: https://www.christiantoday.com/article/muslim.site.predicts.jesus.will.return.in.2022/48878.htm Russian Patriarchate (Top Bishop) says end of human history is soon: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/russian-church-says-end-history-near-717521%3famp=1 Preacher says Jesus is coming soon: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.express.co.uk/news/weird/1293492/End-of-the-world-Jesus-return-soon-Bible-prophecy-Second-Coming/amp Doomsday clock near Midnight: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/01/24/world/doomsday-clock-2019/index.html Ronda Rousey, a MMA fighter admitted to Cohen O’brien she is becoming a doomsday prepper: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/557469002 While I was in Jerusalem years ago, a Christian woman from Switzerland got in prayer that Jesus would return in 2022. Religious and secular people alike are getting the end is soon. When people say they are doomsday prepping, preparing for apocalypse, secular and worldy people don’t laugh but actually encourage getting ready. Is Jesus coming again in 2022? Interestingly, Revelation 22 is the last chapter in the last book of the Bible. It features passages about Jesus coming soon: “The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.” (Revelation 22:17) “He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20). We see a world that is growing lawlessness (Matthew 24:13), and considering nothing sacred (2 Timothy 3:2). Some believe the Sign of the Son of Man that precedes Christ, “Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. - Matthew 24:30), has already been seen in Hubble Cross or Celestial Cross: https://www.skyimagelab.com/m51-cross.html Could Christ be returning in 2022? The rebuttal is, "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matthew 24:36). Howvever in Greek, day means a day not day or year (2 Peter 3:7), so there is no mentioning you can’t know the year. Also since Christ lives in us (Colossians 1:27) and we live in God the Trinity (1 John 4:15) it stands to reason the Father could tell people the year, for Jesus said, “In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name” (John 16:23). Thoughts? Criticisms? Insights?
  19. I love your first paragraph. Heiser is basing his argument on Hebrews 2: “Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dyi” (Hebrews 2:14-15) Your second paragraph, I however believe Christ and the message of the cross is for all mankind, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:18) and “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 2:3-4), albiet not everyone believes it like we Christians do. Mankind likes to make sacrifices. There is a pride in human nature that wants to appease God with a sacrifice, a hardship, a struggle of piety. But all of this is a war on grace, “How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrews 10:29). There is no need for sacrifices anymore! Jesus has replaced the old system of making offerings of blood sacrifice with His once for all sacrifice on the cross. I love what Oswald Chambers [disclaimer there is much I disagree with Chambers on] said: “The gospel of the grace of God awakens an intense longing in human souls and an equally intense resentment, because the truth that it reveals is not palatable or easy to swallow. There is a certain pride in people that causes them to give and give, but to come and accept a gift is another thing. I will give my life to martyrdom; I will dedicate my life to service— I will do anything. But do not humiliate me to the level of the most hell-deserving sinner and tell me that all I have to do is accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ." (Utmost For His Highest, November 28th). Oswald explains the hubris that causes this reaction in people who want to do a service to please God when God has pleased Himself via His death on the cross.
  20. Because He held the scroll and then later mounts the horse (Revelation 19:11-16). Just as He once healed the blond, but then died on a cross for our sins, rose from the dead and ate fish, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
  21. That is good news! For Jesus our Lord said to “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19)
  22. I love how happy Christ looks in this stain glass. Usually he’s depicted a solemn or even grumpy.
  23. Indeed, when I attended a Lutheran Church, every Sunday they adminster the Communion, with every member and vistor participating. I wish Evangelical and Non-Denominational churches did the same. Perhaps I shoukd pray for it.
  24. Hahaha but is it joyful if it makes everyone else in the pews cringe? XD
  25. Indeed were there is doubt there is sin, “But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it. For you are not following your convictions. If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.” (Romans 14:23, NLT)
