“Age of Ages” is just an older way of saying forever and ever, “You name stands age to age, blessed be your Name! Blessed Be the Name of the Lord!” I actually gave you three texts for proof, not one: “Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10) “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death” (Revelation 20:14) “Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15) I’ll add another proof that The Lake of Fire, Inferno, Second Death is forever: “1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." (Revelation 21:1, 6-8) Verse 21:8, “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death”(Revelation 21:8) is after The New Heaven and Earth are created.

Catholics and Demonic Infestation, etc.
Fidei Defensor replied to Mystic_Pizza's topic in Spiritual Warfare
You brought up “Amittyville business,” Catholics use exorcists: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed," (Mark 16:17-18), the word caste out in Greek is, "ἐκβάλλω, ekballó, to expel, to drive, cast or send out." (Strong's Greek Concordance). In contrast, Exorcist and Exorcism comes from another Greek Word, "ἐξορκιστῶν, exorkistes, one that binds by oath (spell), by implication, an exorcist (conjurer), exorcist comes from the word exorkizo to conjure and abjure," (The Key Word Study Bible, 1977 NASB, Greek 1844-45, pg 2166). These are totally opposite, when Jesus caste out demons He said "ekballo" which means to drive out or expel, while "exorkizo" in Exorkistes or Exorcist means to conjure, bind with spell, and abjure! We thus see there is a major difference between one who really executes deliverance in Christ, and one who does exorcism, which really is conjuring of demons.” (From Fidei Defensor’s Sermon on the Difference between Exorcism and Deliverance. Fruit of Deliverance vs Exorcism: Deliverance: “When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.” (Mark 5:15) Exorcism: “Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, (“I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.”14 Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this.15 But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?” 16 And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and (H)the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled. 18 Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. 19 And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver (2 million US dollars).” (Acts 19:13-19). -
Indeed Jesus The Son of God was the one sent, to save us. Of the Triune God, The Son came, however He remained One Essence and Substance with the Father and Holy Spirit (Colossians 2:9, 1:John 10:30, John 14, John 17:20-23). This Oneness does not cease, but it was the Distinct Person of the Son, Jesus, of the Godhead who came. i could endavor to try and explain (to the best of my ability), but I am trying to be careful, asserting the Uniqueness of our Savior Jesus who is the Person The Son, that Christ was the one who came, yet remains One with the Father and Holy Spirit.

You mentioned 1,000 year (Millenial Reign). So I say “On the earth”: “4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.” (Revelation 20:4-5)

The proof lies in that death and hades are thrown into the Second Death, which means the Second Death exists. The text, “Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10). This is ample proof for me that the lake of fire, the second death (Revelation 20:14-15) is forever.

Canticle to The Holy Trinity: Blest are You, God the Father, Jesus, the Only Begotten Son of God and the Holy Spirit Who have shown us merciful love. (Entrance Antiphon) You delight in us day by day Playing Your symphony on the surface of creation, Delighting in us, Your song; Dancing with us, Your melody. (Proverbs 8.31) O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth! Who are we that You should be mindful of us? You have made us little less than the angels, You have crowned us with glory and honor; You have given us rule over the works of your hands You have put all things under our feet. (Psalm 8.5-7) Thank you for pouring Your Love into our hearts Through the Holy Spirit that You have given to us. (Romans 5.5) Thank you for your Spirit of Truth who guides us to all truth. Thank you, Jesus, that everything the Father has is Yours And is shared with us, (John 16.15) especially the Spirit Who cries out within us: Abba, Father. (Communion Antiphon) Thank You, Dear Father God, our loving, beneficent, merciful and forgiving Creator. Thank You, Blessed Brother Jesus, for carrying Heaven to Earth; for birthing us into Your Family now and forever. Thank You, Powerful Holy Spirit, for nurturing us into intimacy with God and with one another. https://journeytowisdom-ocbs.blogspot.com/2013/05/a-canticle-to-holy-trinity.html?m=1

Please Read the full post, I gave proof: The proof is that Revelation never says it ceases to exist, while death and hades do cease to exist: “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.” (Revelation 20.14) One verse after it says, “Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15) The Lake of Fire is still there in the full passage: “14Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire.15And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake offire.” (Revelation 20:14-15)

“All-holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our iniquities. ... From my bed and sleep Thou hast raised me: O Lord, enlighten my mind and my heart, and open my lips that I may praise Thee.” (10 Page 11 MORNING PRAYERS O Holy Trinity: Holy, holy, holy art Thou, O God)

Amen. “For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.” (1 Peter 2:21)

I will get to the rest of your reply when time permits, but I wanted to address this one point for starters. Firstly one day death and hades are thrown into lake of fire: “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.” (Revelation 20.14) Notice it says that death was thrown into the second death. The Second Death, Inferno, Lake of Fire will always exist and it says oneday Satan is tormented in it day and night: “And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10) Ergo death as we know it and hades will be destroyed, but not the Second Death, it shall remain as the Inferno for the wicked (Revelation 20:15) I believe these passages are literal, not figurative, that all will happen as plainly and clearly as is written in these passages.

First Rule of Reform Club.. you don’t talk about.. Transubstantiation (The Bread and Wine in Communion). Just ask Luther and Zwingli.. Here is a place to discuss and debate Reformed Theology in a game of sorts. Pick a Team: TEAM Luther -Lutheranism TEAM Calvin -Presbyterianism TEAM Tudor -Anglicanism TEAM Zwingli -Reformed TEAM Chelčický-Anabaptist TEAM Zinzendorf -Moravian TEAM Rome -Catholicism The aim is to pick a team and make a case with the particular theology and doctrine of the Reformed Person and or Institution. Its not meant to be a heated debate, but to assume a side and theraby learn via posing a question like Predestination, Eucharist (Communion), Sola Scriptura, and etc and answering as one of the Teams; then from there answer one another. Team Rome is the standard challenger. You may argue the Romanite view on a topic like Transubstantiation even if you are not RCC. The Goal is to learn more about The Reformation, and the different branches. Rules You may switch teams after each round. A round consists of a topic, examples: “Sola Scriptura” “Eucharist/Communion” “Justification” “Predestination vs Arminianism.” “Images, Idolatry or Spiritual Aids” “Church Militant, Crusaders and Puritans” Points are earned by forming an argument that is most accurate to the TEAM you represent, an example: 2+ Pts for stating Luther was in favor of Consubstantiation. 1pt if you argue Luther was in favor of Transubstantiation, which is true in several interpretations and periods of His life. But not the most accurate. 5-10 pts if your case is stronger and beats the other team in the criteria of Scriptural Soundness (supported by Scripture), Logic, Accuracy to your Team’s views, and is Well Reasoned argument. Minus pts are for getting something totally wrong about about your Team’s point of view. You may take your time to form your argument, look up sources online and prepare a rebuttle. There is no time limit. GM/ Game Master: The Person in charge of judging and distruputing points. For now I, @Fidei Defensor will be GM until another is appointed. The goal of this game is not to cause offense, people on these forums hold these particular beliefs. So no baiting, flaming, and insulting another’s point of view. Be respectful, you’re aim is to argue the point of view of the reformed person and denomination, not to create a personal apologeia and treatsie in defense of your own Lutheranism, Calvinism, Zwinglism, Moravianism, and Romanism. The ultimate goal is to learn more about these persons, beliefs, and churches.

I wholeheartedly agree: “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the Great Apostasy (falling away) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction”- (2 Thessalonians 2:3) 70% of the new generation is Nones (no religion) Europe: Germany, UK, and other countries are becoming predominately Muslim and None. Hinduism has gained a foothold in people via Yoga. Neo-Paganism is returning. Mexicans are converting to Islam. —————— Counter Argument: Iran is having a major revival. California is having a revival.

Ever wondered what language Adam did speak?
Fidei Defensor replied to HAZARD's topic in General Discussion
Adam most likely spoke Aramaic. Its the Oldest language. Jesus spoke Aramaic. Name of Jesus in Armaic: -
The Apostle Paul did say, “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst (chiefest).” (1 Timothy 1:5). That is a saved apostle refering to hinself as a sinner. I personally believe we are saints (Revelation 13:7)and a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9) through faith in Christ. But Paul does refer to himself as a sinner too. We cannot say we are without sin or else call God a liar, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us,” (1 John 1:8)), and “1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2:1-2)

Watchman are leaders: “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.” (Hebrews 13:17)

“In this matter a uniquely heavy responsibility rests on those to whom this message is given by the prophet: ‘He indeed will die in his sin, but I will require his blood at the hand of the watchman.’ fn27 For ‘watchmen’, that is, leaders of the people, have been appointed in the churches for this purpose, that they should be unsparing in their condemnation of sin. This does not mean that a man is entirely free from blame in this regard if, without being a ‘watchman’, he recognizes, but ignores, opportunities of warning and admonishing those with whom the exigencies of this life force him to associate–if he evades this duty for fear of offending them, because he is concerned for those worldly advantages, which are not in themselves discreditable, but to which he is unduly attached. There is a further reason for the infliction of temporal suffering on the good, as is seen in the case of Job–that the spirit of man may be tested, that he may learn for himself what is the degree of disinterested devotion that he offers to God.” (City of God, Book I, Chapter 9:The reasons why the good and the wicked are equally afflicted, Augustine of Hippo)

“10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead-by him this man is standing before you well. 11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." - (Acts 4:10-12)

I just read this: “We tend culpably to evade our responsibility when we ought to instruct and admonish them, sometimes even with sharp reproof and censure, either because the task is irksome, or because we are afraid of giving offence; or it may be that we shrink from incurring their enmity, for fear that they may hinder and harm us in worldly matters, in respect either of what we eagerly seek to attain, or of what we weakly dread to lose. In this matter a uniquely heavy responsibility rests on those to whom this message is given by the prophet: ‘He indeed will die in his sin, but I will require his blood at the hand of the watchman.’ For ‘watchmen’, that is, leaders of the people, have been appointed in the churches for this purpose, that they should be unsparing in their condemnation of sin.
