God’s way was correct, as always.Paul for sure thought he was doing right but did not think it through. Who’s way was best? God’s way or Paul’s way? Scripture is perfectly written .....not so the players....not even Paul. What is of more importance....fashioning tents or spreading the Gospe?

I used to have a golfing buddy who built a little birdhouse for another golfing friend, just as a kind gift. Problem was, the birdhouse had a steeple on it.The intended recipient claimed that the steeple was a “ phallic symbol” and he would not take it.So my buddy ripped the steeple off the birdhouse and handed it to the other guy and said, “you happy now?”

I don’t have to prove you wrong——-the scriptures can do that.This stuff is Christianity 101. Paul referred to the Gospel as “ his” Gospel three times. Rom 16:25— now to Him that has the power to establish you according to MY Gospel. 2tim2:8—-Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead,according to MY gospel.There is another one but I hope that I have proven my first , disputed point. Do you really believe Paul revealed this Gospel because he dreamed it up somewhere .Of course he had the authority of Christ to back up his Gospel. Do you believe Paul’s writings are part of the scriptures? I hope so because “ all scripture is God-breathed.” Read Galations 1:1. “ Paul an apostle not sent from men but by God the Father and from Jesus Christ.Read Rom 15:16 “I should be the MINISTER OF CHRIST to the gentiles”.Sent by JesusChrist to minister to the gentiles.Now do you really think that Jesus did not tell Paul what to say as he wrote 1cor15:1-4? . It was God or Jesus breathed just like John3:16 was. Paul said that Gospel will not only save us , it will be what God will judge us by and not believing it will send you to hell—- it is hidden from those that perish. Of course Paul didn’t die for us.....duh......I thought I made it very clear that Paul was an absolute nothing —- just like you and I except to the extent that he was used by God to be the spokes-person by Jesus after He returned to Heaven.I hope I have addressed all of your concerns.God bless.

If Paul said it.......Jesus said it......Paul wrote nothing that The Holy Spirit did not lead him to write.....If The Holy Spirit spoke to Paul in his writings, what is the difference between what Jesus wants to reveal through Paul and what The Holy Spirit wants to reveal through Paul. This is not to set Paul up as the equal to Christ.Paul was a wretched sinner who was nothing without Jesus.He was chosen by God to explain to the world the meaning of what Christ had done ( Jesus did it ALl—-Paul merely was the secretary who wrote it down)Paul also gave instructions to Believers and warnings to non-Believers and gave new promises....If we want to obey Jesus today, our marching orders are to follow Paul as he follows Jesus.Those orders came from Christ Himself and that’s what I try to obey.They both preached “believe”. Like in believe Paul’s Gospel given to him by Jesus in order to be saved. 1Cor15:1-4. —- really just a newer version of John 3:16—- The essence of both are the same.Faith in Christ alone.Plus nothing.

Believers are told that they owe a debt to the one that brings them the Gospel.They must share “ in all good things”. Those that are born- again should have an overwhelming desire to give to the one who preached a message that saved them.If the Holy Spirit indwells a person, He is going to make a giver out of you.I can’t help but want to give to those that feed me spiritually.It frees up the pastor to potentially save more souls and gives me the chance to build up treasure in Heaven.Despite this perfect set up, Paul apparently thought his way was better—— to refuse to let Believers do as commanded because Paul didn’t want to offend those who may confuse his motives. Gee—— I guess that never occurred to God when he gave Paul His marching orders, and apparently God was not overly concerned about the losers who may have thought that Paul was only in it for the money.Perhaps they were not “ good soil” that God was seeking.God’s way is always best and had Paul done as instructed he could have potentially seen more souls saved and given Believers a chance to accrue more Heavenly rewards.I admire Paul-both his life and teachings- but in my opinion , this time he got it wrong.As great as he was, he was still human.

Paul did not handle this dilemma properly.His intentions were good, but it is not the way God wanted it.

I agree about this stuff not being relevant.I could not care less about what happened before Adam. It makes no difference——Adam was different——God breathed His life into Adam. Anything before Adam meant nothing.

No disrespect intended, but as a devout OSAS guy, you have not said anything that pertains to what I believe.Apparently all of us hell- bound OSAS Believers vary in our views of what constitutes Scripture.I personally believe that Paul’s Gospel is adequate to save.Jesus said so.I will go with that.Faith plus nothing.I hope my beliefs are recognized as valid here.If not please let me know.God bless
