I'm a member, (soon to not be) of another forum.

A certain person posted a topic that gives government statistics and says, that 50% of murders are caused by black people. Then goes on to say that black people are at a spiritual disadvantage because of their race.

I can't seem to get through to them and it's making me very angry. What's worse is other members are agreeing and patting him on the back for his bravery in stating the truth!

Then they all say I'm wrong and comparing what they're saying to the ayran christian church.

I don't get it! There's all this talk about the mark of cain, blah blah blah blah blah.

What is wrong with people???????????

Can't they see it's thinking like that that breads racial groups. Such as the KKK, or New Nazis? I used to think the same way, and at the same time, I was white power and hated everyone who wasn't white. Now they say they're not racist because they have black friends or what not.

Anyway,, I'm sorry, I know I'm new here, and this is a deep topic, I just needed to vent.

I didn't go through all of the posts here, so I don't know if this has been said or not. First of all we are all shades of brown - some lighter, some darker. We all came from Adam and Eve, so they passed on the tendency to be darker or lighter. As for the "mark of Cain", that is just what someone made up. If (and I stress "if") it were true, that line would have all been wiped out during the Flood.

Statistics can be made to support whatever point a person wants to make. The questions asked, the wording of the question, and the wording of the choices of answers all can make the outcome slant in a certain direction.

It's hard to argue with facts and statistics... it is what it is...

But an uninformed slant against someone with a darker skin color because of those facts, which encompass a group, rather than individuals... well, that's ungodly!

It's a shame that the entire black community gets stereotyped because of the faults of others (gang members and mainstream rap artists)

Stats, race, and stereotypes don't matter. The Bible tells us that all have sinned. Even if people are looked at as "good" people or "bad" people, they're all the same without Christ, lost. They're all the same with Christ, saved.

I would leave that site and never look back. Racism has no place in the heart of a true Christian. The good Lord made us the way he wanted us; in varying skin colors. This is what He wanted; who are we to say one race is superior to another? Physically there are very few differences among the races; we are all descended from the same two people. Intelligence is not determined by race either, there is no difference between white, black, Asian, Native or any other race. Racism really gets my ire up and I never hesitate to tell anyone how I feel about it. We should look at the heart, not the complexion, just as our Lord and Savior does.

I agree 100 percent! Yet I have met Christians that think other wise Morning Glory, and have been in long Biblical debates over things such as racial marriage not being a sin. I think that even some Christians just can't get over how they were brought up or had been thinking their whole lives, even when the Bible speaks against what they say.

There is nothing more nauseating than a racist Christian.

It reeks of opposition to His Word.

To love one another as Christ loved us.

Racism is anti-brotherhood.

This is very racist and coming from a person who can see things only at face value and decides not to look at the bigger picture.

We have to remember slavery in the US was abolished only a few generations ago. A very short time ago, Black people were brought to America against their will, in chains, and treated worse than animals. As a result of that ill treatment, and horrible treatment long after slavery was abolished has given them a reason to be angry and hateful. The kkk, lack of human rights until the 60's and other astrocities has given some of them a 'reason' to be hateful and unproductive to this day. Is it a spiritual bondage? Yes, but it has nothing to do with their skin colour - it's about the way they were so badly treated and the generations passing down anger and hatred. On the other hand, a great many have let go of the past and gone on to lead productive and happy and successful lives in America.

Anger and hatred can be passed down through ANY and EVERY various ethnic groups, for a variety of reasons. All kinds of sin can be passed down - molestation, alcoholism, violence, racism. Skin color hasn't a thing to do with it. The devil doesn't descriminate based on skin color. But he will use our bad experiences and our history against us to cause us to hate and to perpetrate evil and pass down hatred.

BTW - most, by far, serial killers are white males.

Slam me if you will. How long is this type of thinking going to be perpetrated? What you have said historically is true. But it has been long enough, with reverse discrimination and quotas, that any disparities are fed by a poor me attitude. Everyone has the opportunity to succeed in this country these days, and those who choose to game the system, collect welfare, and make babies; those that leave them and their mothers to survive on their own while they choose to waste their lives using drugs and roaming the streets deserve what they get. Black or white. So please, spare the white guilt trip.

I don't see the point in any of us comparing crime stats by race or gender? Why do that? Sure the people where the topic maker saw all the racism has people with terrible views against the opposite color, but I don't see the point in taking up the same kind of behavior by bringing in race with stats and what not. Race, type of sin, or who does it most does not matter!!!

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

John 3:36 - Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

Doesn't rasism fall into the offence catagory and the love your brother catagory of true christianity? If, we are commanded by no other than Christ Himself to love our fellow man as we love ourselves, what does that say about the people whom discriminate against any race, or group of people, and where does it stop? Are we suppose to let the powers and principalities who use such people to offend us into anger and bitterness, thats in the Gospel also; we should not be offended but pray for the ones that believe in such things. The book "The bait of Satan" by John Bevere covers all such acts of offence, we should pray that Jesus removes this from us, It is a good read and recommended to anyone who is offended easily. I have never been prejudice and have been offended by people who are just plain ignorant, but Have learned that they also need Christ, even if witnessing to them seems a waste to me, I know that God Has a motive and reason for me to witness and spread the Gospel to them. My hopes is that they find salvation and learn to love there brother just as I do.

I would tell the truth, that is that even if someone irratates me to anger, I don't have to use that anger in a negative and sinful way, I can give that anger to Christ and do as is good.

anymore and I will be just running on, so I must stop

May the Peace of God be with you until we meet again

P.S. If all three families of the sons of Noah could work together this world would be a differant place!

Black was not the mark of Cain think about the flood of Noah all of Cain's descendent's was destroyed in the flood so none of his descendent's live today.

I wonder what in the world would the mark of Cain have to do with any prejudice. The knowledge of the Curse Noah put on the son(s) of Ham would be the closest to any biblical truth on the basis for any difference at all. The truth that I have seen in life and history is that without the Sons of Ham inventing so much and handing it over to Shem and Japhaths decendants we wouldn't be out of the stone age yet. When all Three learn to work together we will have a very beuatiful world, SHem seems to be the Religious Branch, Japhath the spreader and improver on inventions, and Ham seems to invent and pass on the invention to Shem or Japhath. Just something I have learned over time, Ham was everywhere before Japhath, even in America, Ham lead the way as The American Indians.

Skin colour has no respect in God's eye, and isn't this the Human race, so why cant we all just do as Christ said "Love one another as I have loved you"

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
