Muslims nations are attempting an international treaty outlawing blasphemy against Islam and Muhammad. Presently, the arguements against such a treaty is free speech. The Qu'ran says that Christ's death on the cross was faked. The Qu'ran also blasphemes the Holy Spirit. It tells its followers to kill the people they can't convert. It has never been a religion of peace. If you research the Encyclopaedia Britannica, he and his followers supported themselves by raiding caravans passing Medina--killing its escorts and selling the survivors as slaves. He was literally a murder and a thief. Will the Encyclopaedia be outlawed? By their own proposed treatise shouldn't the Qu'ran be outlawed for blaspheming Christ and the Holy Spirit? Shouldn't the promotion of murder be outlawed? If a Muslim converts to Christianity or any other religion, Muhammad's followers are instructed to kill the apostate.

Muslims don't believe the Cross was faked, they believe in that old crock of poo, the swoon theory. Basically, Jesus lapsed into unconsciousness, the Roman stabbed him and took him down and he was revived in the coolness of the tomb. Medically impossible, unfortunately for them and easy enough to disprove. Even the internal Biblical evidence proves that it's medically impossible. The Roman soldier's spear punctured Jesus' pericardial sac and blood and water came out, separated. This is a sign that he was ALREADY dead, were he alive, the blood and fluid (technically not water, but pericardial fluid)would have been mixed. A prominent Christian doctor did an article on the subject 25-30 years ago.

Islam is a weak caricature of the old Jewish order, with animal sacrifices and a law that must be followed to the letter. It will not survive much longer, eventually, the Magogists will demand it be outlawed. I will go as far to say that I think Islam will be the very first religion outlawed as the humanists continue their march. It's easy to want outlaw Islam, with their penchant for violence.

Pray that you are right, but I think Islam will be outlawed by Christ at His return - Revelation 13's beast is described by the same animal symbols Daniel 7 used to describe the ancient Greek, Medo-Persian and Babylonian empires - the territory stretches from Eastern Europe through Turkey, down through Lebanon, to Egypt and North Africa and Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia and across through Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, right up to Pakistan and Afghanistan. It's all Islamic today, with the exception of Greece, which is very small. Revelation 13 says this beast will rule the whole world, and will make war against the saints and overcome them.

I can't remember where I saw this, but someone showed about the number 666 referring to Islam. The mark of the beast could very well be referring to "confessing" that "there is no god but allah, and mohammed is his prophet"

I'm not saying the above things are true. But all I know is the Muslims around here (there are hundreds of thousands of them) all act like they're already in charge of the world. They seem very confident that "their unholy jihad is won - it's only a question of time". Christ will judge Islam by His return, I think.

when I think about the things muslim's do and I'm made sick by the things they believe but I try to remember that christ say's to pray for your enimies and I try to remind myself that if God can forgive a man for his sins then I have no right to hold his sins against him. It's had to convince a man that his faith is wrong but god can do the impossable. I believe praying for the misguided souls in this religion is the best answer.

OneLight, the occult is very deceptive and counterfeits the abundant life that Jesus came to give us. Satan is wickedly clever, therefore, the occult is not a "in your face" worship of Satan. Matter of fact, many occultists don't make the claim to worshipping Satan. There are different facets of the occult such as new age, paganism, wicca, santera, aruba, children of the sun, freemasonry, and satanism.

The occult is made to appease the carnal nature of man. It gives people are false sense of belonging and security. People get into the occult finding it to be prestigious, and full of life when in reality it leads to death. You say:

Counterfeits always look like the real thing. As I said, the occult looks to be of abundant life. Satan comes to steal, kill(John10:10) and destroy, and anything of Satan will evetually do so. You eat fruit from Satan's orchard, you get rotten fruit that will evetually poison you.

Daniel chapter 8:25 mentions that the anti-Christ will cause the craft to prosper. In witchcraft, the often call it "the craft." Daniel 7:25 mentions how he will speak against the Most High God and shall wear out the saints while 2nd Thessalonians2:4 mentions how he will oppose and exalt himself above God. Oh sure, he will also claim to be God and will do signs and wonders(2nd Thessalonians2:9), but that's what the occult is about. It is pure deception. just as God bestows spiritual gifts on believers, Satan has his counterfeit to that. That is witchcraft. Witches and warlocks operate in counterfeit spiritual gifts. They oppose God and His Word, they love witchcraft, the love the counterfeit power they get from Satan, they love appeasing their carnal nature. This is how the anti-Christ will get many to follow him.

I have no doubt that those do have false signs and wonders, jsca777. I have been working with Wiccans for over 5 years now and understand them very well. Still, I believe that this false religion will be so close to our own that it will deceive many, thinking that are following the real thing. Satan will have to come up with something new to almost fool Gods elect. They will be well versed in scripture and will be able to spot a fake pretty easily.

I am more upset by the weak, pathetic and hateful governments that are afraid of the Muslims, physically afraid, and thus they may give in to this sort of thing in the cloak of tolerance. However they are quick to denounce and try to destroy any effort by Christians to support a more moral and just society.

If a Christian opposes abortion and gay marriage he is a bigot, when a Muslim does these same things he is simply following his poor persecuted religion. Can you provide scripture on the anti-Christ being an occultist? Occult to break it down means supernatural, he will be supernatural, but this does not mean Islam will not be the religion of the anti-Christ. Islam is a counterfeit gospel, which has roots to early Judaism, and interestingly enough, their coming messiah parallels the anti-Christ in Revelation.
