What are the 1/3 of angels cast out of heaven with Satan doing if they are not now demons following the orders of him?

You are assuming that they have already been kicked out of heaven....... I have some friends that can discuss that subject with you for days at a time as to whether or not this has happened or is to happen as written in Revelation chapter 12. Many people that I interface with consider Satan still having access to heaven to accuse us of every little thing that we do wrong.

The serpent is biting the dust on earth in the Hades side. He's collecting evidence about those sinners because he's so keen on keeping their souls with him. He will accuss them of in the final judgment, such that those without being saved by Jesus' blood will stay with him.

From what I gather, Satan does still have access to heaven, (Job 1:6).

The problem with either side of opinions relating to angels / fallen angels ect is that we have very little information. There are suggestions, things we might imply from scriptures written, but not enough to really make any kind of case one way or the other.

Plus, it doesn't matter in the overall scope of salvation. We have the information we need to make heaven, and that is enough.

I just read the bible as it is unless there is reason to believe it is not literal. The bible says Satan took one third with him, and the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth. I dont go in for the opinions of others.

Grace to you,

It is evident from Scripture that satan has a kingdom and that the kingdom that he does have consists of anyone in league with him. The fallen angels remain in league with him as well as rebellious humans.

satan has been called a liar and the chief of the demons by the Lord Himself;

If your going to assert that this interpretation is a "big stretch" then your going to have provide proof in the Word and find thought that agree's with your own. The Word tells us not to build our houses upon shifting sand dear brother. That's why I don't make bold assertions, rather I examine every thought and meditation carefully, then I cast off those things that aren't the built upon the Rock.

Peace,

Dave

well, if God "sent them to hell,[a] putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment (2 Pet 2:4)"

then they're not really being "held" if we don't take this scripture literally. And if we say that God "held" the angels that sinned, and conclude that is was 1/3, then their shouldnt be

any fallen angels roaming around.

im at work but i'll provide some scripture soon.

The word Nephilim means tyrants. It's another one of those words/terms which really isn't all that special, but bad theologians make it special, like 'great tribulation.' Angels are neuter beings, incapable of reproduction.

Demons are angels which follow Satan, doing his desires and giving seeming credence to false gods. It is written that all the gods of the Gentiles are demons. It is the demonic spirits that perform the false miracles of these no-gods-at-all.

Like Satan himself, these angels were created to their purpose. They were never holy. They were eventually cast out of heaven, but they serve a purpose in the plan of God.

Brown-Driver-Brigg's

נפל / נפיל

nephı̂yl / nephil

BDB Definition:

1) giants, the Nephilim

Part of Speech: noun masculine

Strongs

H5303

נפל נפיל

nephı̂yl nephil

nef-eel', nef-eel'

From H5307; properly, a feller, that is, a bully or tyrant: - giant.

The only other occurrance for this word is in Numbers 13:33 which is refering to the sons of Anak which are the giants also. So if these Nephilim were just tyrants why use this particular word? and only for those in Gen. 6? Egypt was described as a tyrant, Herod was too but the writers of the scriptures didn't use nephilim. Honestly no one knows what the angels are capable of do we? We don't know if they can reproduce do we, scripture doesn't say. We only know that there is no marriage after the resurrection.

You apparently didn't read the definition you posted. A Nephil is a tyrant. I can give modern day examples of nephlim:

Benito Mussolini

Adolf Hitler

Hideki Tojo

Saddam Hussein

Qusay and Ouday Hussein (Saddam's sons)

Osama bin Laden

Crips

Bloods

Hell Angels

various street gangs of renown

various motorcycle gangs of renown

Ted Bundy

various other serial killers of renown

The Taliban

Islamic terrorists

They are giants at doing evil. Have you never heard the expression in English "He was a giant of a man"? It does not refer to their physical stature necessarily, but to their deeds (in the case of the Biblical Nephilim, evil deeds).

To the question of why angels are always portrayed as male, it's because males are the figure of authority. Angels are spirits and therefore neuter sexually. Spirits do not make babies.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
