in rush hour traffic here in Okla City you just get in the lane you need and follow the car in front of you. The speed limint on I40 is 70 and until I started this 3am to noon thing the traffic would some days do 85 and others 55 and I've really never been able to figure out the difference.

At 2:20am it is just me and 50 "18 wheelers" and boy do they like to drive....

I only speed when the general flow of traffic is speeding.

Last week in Nevada I was just not comfortable driving 75+ on those two lane roads in our chevy truck so I did the set the cruse on 70 and just left it there. We didn't get in anyone's way though for there was no one else there almost all the time.

US highway 50 is the lonelest highway in the us across Nevada ;)

I go 80 in a 55 but it feels like 30. So if it FEELS like 30, is it a sin? ;)

I'm only a leadfoot on the highway. I'm ok in residential areas. I tend to think it's a sin because we are not obeying authority in which God has placed.

I do wear my seatbelt though.

-Speeding isn't a criminal offense either, it is a civil infraction. You can only go to jail for speeding if you fail to pay the fine.

-The courts have stated the Constitution guarantee's the RIGHT-TO-TRAVEL--withOut Permits OR Permission from any city-county-state--or Federal authority----

-WeLLLL, to be Perfectly Factual & LEGAL{as the Supreme Court & The Appellate courts have Ruled}--& I can LIST the Case-Laws-IF need be----But ennyhow----

-THE courts have ruled---that Citizens DO-NOT have to Get ANY type OF PERMITS--

-I.E. A drivers-license--inspection-stickers--wear a seat belt--& As Such ALL the SO-Called Traffic Laws are ILLEGAL--UNconstityutional-----WE--The Citizens CANNOT be Deprived of a "RIGHT"--& then That RIGHT be SOLD back to us a "Privilege"!!-by any city--county-state--or Federal Authority--Case-Closed---

-To Not pay A Traffic-fine --You go to the "Traffic-Court Judge---Present the Case-Laws-to the Judge & ask him IF he has the Authority to --OVER-RULE The Supreme Court &/OR the Appellate Courts??----Thats The LAW OF-THE LAND----{IF YOU KNOW IT??}---Which the lower Court judges DO-NOT /OR are Obligated to INform you OF----Sooooo--the old saying{Ignorance of the Law is NO Excuse}for breaking the Law--That is what Judges used to tell you & will continue to ROB you of your $$Money IF you are Ignorant of the LAW--& The Constitution--- :D:rofl::D

-Just thought YOU should KNOW-HOW & WHY you can be Robbed-By those that SWORE an Oath to Preserve--Protect & Defend the Constitution & the Bill Of RIGHTS---BUT IF YOU KNOW the LAW & have Copies of those Appellate & Supreme Court Case Laws with you --YOU can NO longer be ROBBED OR Imprisoned by Theives that wear Black-Judicial Robes & their Publicly-paid personal body-guards who wear badges & carry Guns to ENFORCE those ILLEGAL Traffic Laws-& to EnRich the coffers & deep-pockets of Judges & Lawyers------IF YOU DON'T KNOW That Is-:rofl::D --- :D:D:P

LOL I don't speed. At all. *Shivers* I am all paranoid on the road. Dude, I freak out of I have to go above 40. I get all swervy. BWA! ya'll need to pray about my driving, all my worrying is a sin :)

Is it a sin? Probably. If you can't speed, like me, then don't. If you are going to endanger someone elses life then it isn't worth it. you are still gonna get caught at the light, and at the stop signs (If you stop :D ) I think that ya'll have presented some very very interesting points!!!!

another reason for me to go 5 miles under the limit :) J/k

Can you believe I can drive??? Scary stuff :oww:

As Christians we are to follow the laws of the land, correct?

It was brought to my attention recently that if I set my cruise control on the speed limit, and my car goes over that going downhill, then I am speeding and therefore sinning.

I should set my cruise on 5 miles below the speed limit, to avoid ever speeding.

If I set my cruise control at one mile over the posted speed I am sinning and God hates sin.

Almost everyone in North America speeds, much faster than I do, that doesn't mean I should think it is okay for me to, just wondering about your thoughts.

While we were on vacation in Canada, we passed maybe three vehicles and they were towing things, we were doing the speed limit, but no one else was.

And do you speed as a matter of course, without even giving it much of a second thought.

I cannot think of a single person I know besides my  husband and daughter who don't speed.

Your post is no silly. If you follow the spirit of the speed laws then you can be clear in your conscience before God. What do i mean?

Well what do they have speed laws for? Basically it is for safety concerns. When cars are travelling at the same speed there is less change of collision thus Accidents. Different roads have different speed limits because of the quality of the road. Going fast on a 4 lane divided highway is not as dangerous as going fast down a suburban street on the weekend when kids are outdoors playing. If your intention while driving is to be safe and do all things necessary to prevent an accident then you have the right spirit. even though you may inadvertently go over the speed limit now and then as long as your intention is right then your conscience can be clear.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
