Since someone has already incorrectly read something in my previous reply to you , I better not read your reply or reply in return . No offense .

Unless you really think that something new can be brought forth from it .

I don't mind that people have a problem with me in my not claiming to observe the Sabbath . I left the group that damned me for not meeting with them every Sunday ( incluiding family members ) . So , strangers not liking me because I notice that they don't do what they imply they do doesn't bother me . take care

Wow! All this for which day to worship. I can not, for the life of me, ever understand why it matters. Are we not to worship Him every day and in all that we do?

Amen . But , just saying that gets you an ear-full .

WHO CARES! Glorify Jesus every waking minute! Live in His Kingdom constantly. What difference does it make on what day you do it? That you do it is what important! Take time out, yes, but take the time out with Him, not away from Him.

Do you really think that the loving, awesome God we serve will condemn you for not observing the sabbath (whenever that may be). If you do, you are missing the whole point of the message Jesus gave us! Love, faith, grace.

Blessings

1. God does.

2. God is indeed a loving and awesome God, but that does not detract from Him being first and foremost righteous.

Isa 24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws,
changed the ordinance
, broken the everlasting covenant.

Jesus gave us what the law could not, an atonement for our sins, thus breaking its stronghold.

Yes, that is love which demands our faithfulness less we have received His grace in vain . . .

Yeah, it makes you wonder why God wrote in stone if it doesn't matter . . .

You know that Sabbath is not about the day one worships. That is man rules. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. It is set saide as a day of rest, as God rested on the 7th day, so should we.

A psalm for the Sabbath -

Ps 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.

3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is His also.

5 The sea is His, and He made it: and His hands formed the dry land.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

7 For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
To day if ye will hear His voice
,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9 When your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My work.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known My ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest.

Yes, but where does it say that you have to go to church for this? In my bible, this Psalm is called A Call to Worship and Obedience. No day is set aside for this. It is done every day.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
