At times these rules go too far . About 30 years ago a restaurant inspector in Maryland told the restaurant I was working that it must cover the food from the counter to the tables being served. The longest distance of a table was 30 yards whilst the nearest 2 yards. This applied to the counter seats as well. This did not aplly for the food served to the bar which was in the adjacent building. On why it applied in one case and not to the other is an unsloved mystery.

Blessings

Wasn't able to find the reg's, but I'm pretty sure exhaust fans are required for commercial kitchens. It would be interesting to see how they got around this requirement.

It's just another spoke in the wheel of the machine to get everyone who is not a muslim to dare not offend them in any way, shape, or form.

i have a problem with that; I offend them any chance I get. Surely everyone is aware that several muslims frequent this website, staying in the shadows and reading the posts. They do it for the same reason I read Al Jazeera English Online.

You just blew your cover, Inspector Clouseau...

Nah; I'm very open about my views and purpose on that site. I get censored a LOT. I'm surprised they haven't banned me yet.

You know, H.P., I believe you're right. The law cannot dictate that one has to break the law. Good point.

I don't agree with having to make changes just to appease someone, but at the same time perhaps the person who filed the complaint IS really getting sick from the smell. (I can't drink the majority of tap water because most tap water tastes disgusting to me and will make me sick, so I can sorta get how this person feels) And while this article reported it as a Muslim complaint it doesn't mean the person who complained did it based on his or her faith--- details can easily get messed up or assumed when it comes to reporting.

If anything, the neighbor and the owners should talk about it--- perhaps they could only cook bacon on certain days, or could microwave the bacon instead of frying it. There are alternatives to having a peaceful environment for the shop owners and the neighbor. And I think that's really what we all want in our lives: peace.

Unfortunatly this area is very quickly becoming a " no go " for anyone who is NOT a muslim .... even the police wont go to certain parts of the city as they would be attacked

Within the next ten years if nothing is done this country will be divided into muslim / non muslim cities with NO tollerence shown by either side. Even more unfortunatly far too many of these are refugees who start demanding more than equal rights and insist they have a right to be here whilst at the same time threatening our way of life

'It's been a sandwich shop for about eight years, cooking exactly the same stuff. The lady before me did double because they were actually building new houses across the road so she was really busy. She was here from 6am-4pm because they were so busy.

'They were there before me but they were also there when the lady who owns the business was here and she was doing double what we are. She had five staff, you can imagine how bust that shop was and they never complained at all.'

They say that the council's environmental services had been out to inspect their property after their neighbour complained about a foul odour last year, but they ruled that the smell was not causing a problem.

Mrs Akciecek said: 'Environmental services said everything is ok. They kept coming back and guaging it and said there was no problem and because they didn't take any action (the neighbours) complained again.'

People need to start paying attention to this stuff because it's coming to a neighborhood near you.

I predict that shop will eventually have to close shop because of the muslim influence.

We are witnessing the rise of the fourth beast.

There's no censorship on this site. It's privately owned and the Ownership along with the Stewardship reserves the right to remove any post we deem detrimental to the fellowship or detrimental to the witness and to the purpose and the intent of the Ministry.

From the TOS;

If you have a problem with any of the Moderators or Chat admin, please keep it private. The moderation team serves this ministry on a voluntary basis. They are human beings and make mistakes. If you disagree with one of their decisions, make use of the PM system or email or the Repost Post button to get satisfaction. (Matt. 18:15)

This is a privately funded message board, we reserve the right to edit or remove any postings that we feel are detrimental to the fellowship on this board, or detrimental to the witness of the board, as we see fit. It is not possible to read every post. If you see a board violation, please report it using the Report a Post button.

You'll note that if you disagree with any of the actions of the servants and stewardship of the Board that there's a Biblical way to resolve it and that you should refrain from making it public.

Making what public? Did you not read the bolded parts (above)? I was referring to Al Jazeera English online and the fact that they censor me heavily when I post. What I wrote had absolutely nothing to do with Worthy. .

Keep creating the same situations found in the middle east, an us or them mentaliy which is making great strides around the world. Islam, sharia is taking over everywhere and our gov. just continue to bend over backwards for the beast.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
