I've booted several teens out of my store. For language and kung-foo fighting in the aisles... Had a parent mad at me too because she sent her son down there to rent, I just told her I can't control the way you let him talk to you, but I can control how he talks to me, if he can't be respectful then he can't rent here.

Now that boy and I get along wonderfully....he's a good kid in there somewhere, I just had to squeeze it outta him...

Whats happening to the youth? I believe they are being dumbed down when their mind is open and tangible, it is being fed stimulant toxins on tv, music, radio's, video games, ect. I think it's interesting about children not knowing who Hitler is, I watched a documentary where Muslims where trying to get that Hitler to stop being taught, also liberals stand behind it.

Thats one of the things that happens when we let the feds dictate what are kids are taught in schools and its been going on for decades. Adults are not immune either at the John Stewards rally a poster was made that said 'Obama is a Keynesian' and the outrage by those interviewed that Obama's birth was in Hawaii and other comments along that vein.

The thing with schools not educating in "real events" history and teaching only evolution theory etc, it gives a perfect garden bed for future "corrupt " leaders and fiathless adults to grow and want a world in the future that doesn't base it prinicpals and policies on what has gone before....it breeds foundationless adults with no history and a self serving government that only has tomorrow in mind and doesn't "look back"..because "history" as we were once taught doesn't "exist"...................

All of America is being dumbed down. It is called the transculturation of America. Our movies go all over the world.

Our customs, our culture is our TV.

Since 1950, when TV first began moving into the homes of America, societal ills have risen dramatically. The transculturation of America began in earnest. What use to be unacceptable in our culture, is now becoming acceptable.

Fr. Thornton continues: "Insofar as our faith in religion--religion in the traditional sense--has receded, so also has our civilization, culture, and way of life degenerated. Those of us who are old enough to have memories that go back before 1960 can testify that we live in a rapidly disintegrating culture, for in our own time the unthinkable has become thinkable and evil sights we could not have imagined 40 years ago are piped, through the medium of television, directly into our living rooms for our families and children to view."

I could take pages citing the statistical social consequences of TV. In short:

They are being taught revisionist history by the NEA teachers who have been dumbed down since the 80's. My adult children who went to school in the 80's don't know history at all. There are good teachers out there, but the NEA union controls curriculum and it is definitely liberal and PC.
