I just saw this on Yahoo News....horrible, just horrible! Fox and CNN are not confirming but some sites are saying she has died of her wounds. Prayers going up for her if she survived.

OK, this is insane. Doing a search for the news on her, at the top was not Giffords but Sarah Palin!

Note 3 - the "suspect" (funny calling the person a suspect it was the actual person doing the shooting, as seen by all) has caught and is in custody, but there's a tight lid on his identity.

I don't understand what you mean here, Neb. Why would Sarah Palin be at the top of the search other than the fact she has evolved into a multi-media phenomenom of her own design ... I am unclear about the shark comment. I'm praying for Ms. Giffords as well as the others (among them a child) who were killed or wounded. What utter madness.

It has to do with a thing in the previous election involving the usage of crosshairs on posters, talking about what democrats to get out of congress, along with the 'don't retreat, reload' comments. While there has been some violence inspired by political rheotirc as of recent, I don't think this is the case here.

I hear through the internet grapevine the shooter is Jared Loughner. From what I've been able to find out, assuming that is the person, he's absolutely nuts and delusional. He has a youtube channel.

The Congresswoman is alive. One person thus far has died. It was a nine year old girl.

Fox has just reported that one of the victims was a federal judge, John Roll (sp?). He has since died of his wounds.
