Lean heavily on the Spirit and don't do anything that the spirit doesn't lead you to do. I know people here in the states just like that and there's really nothing you can do for them. The Holy Spirit is their only hope and you should be there to do the work of the spirit should the need arise.... if it doesn't, then just let God deal with them. If it's Gods will, he'll put you in a confrontation with them and you will not be able to avoid it and they will not be able to stand against you.

That's what I learned the hard way with some of the people I had to work with for many many years.

Good advice from both of you, and thank you, but don't you ever just feel like slapping sense into someone?.........

Sorry, I will pray about it, it is not often I get as mad as a snake. Naked evil I understand and can deal with, but this is institutional, sanctioned and hidden. It is simply very, very, wrong.

Their Hatred Is Again Their Creator (Who Was That First Black Man :24: :24: :24:)

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

And Yet Jesus Can

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26

Yes He Can

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:25-26

Praying For SA.... Glory....... Glory To The KING!

I Love You LORD Jesus, I Love You

And I Love My Brothers Too

Bless Them LORD

I think I have found one of satans "church's" in my own backyard........

.......Now what do I do? Pray yes. Go on the attack? in a small town like mine it would be akin to a nuclear explosion. Do I gather a bunch of my black friends who are fellow church goers and attend their Sunday service? Do I just ignore them? Because people believe me, this is not watered down racism, this is dyed in the wool, naked hatred, with a thin veneer or respectability. This is the old South Africa still hidden, and people died for opposing this, and the response from them could literally be very dangerous.

This is not Christianity, or anything like it.

This is evil.

And I don't know what I, as one person, can do.

This type of 'church' is not limited to SA.

Never been faced with this problem...but I would go and see all the other Church leaders in the surrounding area...I am sure you will discover others that are aware of this Church and its stance...and find others as passionate as yourself who would also like to give out a good slapping, but are constrained by the Spirit and realize that the weapons of their warfare are not carnal, and want this stronghold pulled down. Get together, pray, and do what seems right to you guys and the Holy Spirit.(Acts 15:28)

(realistically word will get out, and you will face strong opposition and need careful discernment even amongst brethren.)

How to Love with God's Love that which is unlovely... I believe it can only be done successfully through a prepared heart 100% focused on

Christ The Living Word as the written Word directs. Fez my take on you is that of a warrior. You have faced fear and went deeper than most

with it. It must be frustrating for you not to go to war with these that are invading, but we do not use such weapons. 2Cor 10:1-6

I do not speak with instruction, for I know that you are well informed in this, but only to come along side and reinforce your spirit in this!

I imagine by your love for those around you the flesh comes against & presses you to do as of old! We know through the Lord JesusChrist's

example the greatest strength of all is the weakness of our own selves fully laid out upon The Father... I have within myself despised

the concept of yielding to abuse with weakness and shame but upon so doing I have entered such a room where The Light of Christ shines

so brightly that it disperses all that is not eternally kept by Him. In this internal chamber of the heart obedience to the truth of God gains us

entrance to The Father's glory and pleasure just as Calvary to our Lord for Himself and us...

I believe the best advice is to gather and unite in the awareness of this place with the children around you... bond yourselves together in

prayer and purpose of love to be a witness to those trapped in the hatred of nothing and have sold their eternities to it's purpose... We know

the emptiness of sin and it's lack of substance so that those who have made it their everything end with nothing... sorrows that the image of

God should be so! Even in this a smile of the heart, a word that follows, seems small and insignificant... if it has set with Christ in that

heart-> it is the most powerful of all that is know for it is essenced in the presence of the Creator of all Things...God's speed to your battle

in this my excellent brother and may you find the promised reward a proper motivation to do it with the excellence of Christ.... love Steven

All my life I've had friends of nearly every nation, race and creed. (New York City is like that!) It never really meant anything to sit next to a Black person in school or on the subway. My first "boyfriend" was Puerto Rican. I had playmates who were Chinese, Dominican, German, Polish, Black and Mexican. My theory is that people who are raised with multi-cultural relationships logically will maintain these relationships throughout their lives. In the American South, and in South Africa, for example, the races had been kept separated for centuries then recently told they have to work and play together. Some folks are kinda slow on the uptake and can't make the change. Then some of them take it to a whole new level. The whole attitude of these people so full of blind hatred is frightening. Prayer for the end of hatred, and for the acceptance of each other that Jesus tried to teach us is the only "cure". I don't know what to do to speed up the process. I hope God does.

I grew up that way too, Leona. I didn't even know about racial problems until my dad retired from the military. I found myself in Alabama and Oklahoma and wow! did I see a side of life that was totally alien to me! God makes us the way He wants us and He never makes mistakes. He did not put us here to hate each other or to feel superiority because we're a particular race; we all look alike to Him. Thankfully, this antiquated thinking is slowly going the way of T-Rex. :)

 I see it as the smallest parts of all we do- being examined by a Holy God... So first Him then others > Me? I shall be formed for His Pleasure and use... To think that God having us in His hand and being used by Him and He having pleasure in the so doing... Wow it blows my mind this wonderful opportunity He has given us! So did you come to Oklahoma with that banjo and fall down to Taxes? :) Love Steven

No, I came to Oklahoma with the thought of college and then fell UP to Michigan, fell back down to Missouri and then finally crash landed in Houston. It was a bumpy ride!

I grew up with a very unique opportunity to view the interaction of the races. I grew up in the South. I am a Cherokee Indian. What I will say after this is all generality. There are exceptions. I was always accepted by the white race. What really came as a shock to me is that the African American race as a whole is very racist toward my people and hispanics. I have many black friends and many white friends. I am definitely not saying that ALL black people in my geographic area feel this way, but a majority definitely do. As a whole, the black race looks down on the Indian/Latino races. I thing it ironic that the black race as a whole, who were victims of racism for decades, be racist themselves. I have one black friend who become irate when he sees a black woman with a white man. A white woman with a black man is OK to him. He has absolutely no reason he can give for why he thinks that way.

I was born and raised and continue to live in the South. My parents were young during the Depression and always told me that EVERYbody gets cold, EVERYbody gets hungry and EVERYbody needs love and respect. My Dad took a stand on racism many, many times and was a strong Christian and a fair man. I grew up respecting people.... of all colors. I've seen ugly in many colors and as my Grandmother would tell me.... "God doesn't like it when we act ugly - it hurts Him". Geography doesn't make one a racist anymore than having membership in a church makes one a Christian.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
