Inconsistent news reports on Bin Laden's death

Perhaps the reason why there have been so many changes in the story is because it is against the law for us to order a hit. It appears that Bin Laden was unarmed, and Obama sent the military in to take him out. While this may be technically illegal, who is going to try to do anything to Obama for ordering the killing of the world's number one terrorist?

The hit was legal. It is agaisnt the law for us to assassinate a foreign leader of a nation. Bin Ladin was nothing but a terrorist thug living in the shadows like a cockroach. What we did will one day be seen as good for the world. Besides, we got some intelligence that may have saved American lives on the 10th anniversary of 9/11

Remember when Husein's sons were killed? Does anyone else remember how the bodies were displayed for the people of Iraq to see that they were indeed dead? Was there any outrage at their bodies not being buried within 24 hours in accordance with Muslim tradition?

I don't remember any outrage but then they were secular people who didn't follow muslim customs,.

Absolutely legal even according to the AG, Eric Holder. I won't celebrate that man's death but I DO believe he needed killing.....from both an American and a Christian perspective.

Not really. I have noticed that our attempt to give OBL a muslim funeral has not gained us any points in the muslim community.

But we made a grave error in giving him a muslim funeral. We basically honored a man who murdered our people. That is how they will see it. We honored their shahid.

What we should have done was wrap him up in pig skin dump him into the sea with no funeral and sent the pics of him wrapped in pig skin to the world, telling the radicals that this is your fate if you continue trying to harm Americans or American interests.

When Husein's sons were killed, most of the people of Iraq refused to believe it was them, not because they supported them, it was because they feared those two boys more then they did Saddam himself. Saddam two sons were out right hellions, they killed, abducted women and raped them, the whole country of Iraq was their playground.

From the time the two sons were killed to the capture of Saddam, you could see a change in the people, you could see they had hope for a brighter future. When pictures of an captured Saddam Husein were shown, there was no doubt in the peoples mind, they said "oh yeah you got him"

Of course non of this was shown on the evening news, you didn't see soldiers helping crippled children, because Saddam wouldn't give them the proper medical treatment and you didn't see soldiers rebuilding schools while we were being shot at. No you didn't see this stuff, because the liberal media didn't want to make President Bush look like a hero.

President Bush IS a hero to all who want justice and freedom. Our current President is looking kind of heroish himself...islamists are calling for his assassination as of this morning, calling him the worst criminal on the planet and an enemy of islam. These are the things I admired the most about Mr. Bush as well; if they hate our leaders then our leaders are on the right track.
