Shalom, other one.

Neb do you reaize that none of these prophecies are saying that the world is going to end,

No. That's what I keep hearing being peddled.

I've said on many occastions for the past several years that no one is predicting the end of the world...... they are actually predicting a glorious renewing of things,...... and that's the very lie of the Beast we're warned about in the Word.

So where's the conflict....... where's the great discrepancy of these things and the Word....

Same problem with this as is with politics...... they never ever tell you the truth about things in the media.....

Sam, the End of Days begins when Jesus opens the first seal. Whether that's already happened or is future, that's a whole other debate.

But the point is, all that is written in Revelation begins at the Lord's command. The Beast won't rise until the Lord allows it to rise.

Our job is to proclaim the Kingdom of God, not the Kingdom of the Evil One.

Focus on making and raising disciples. Teach people how to know the voice of the Lord. That's the best way to keep them from being deceived.

This world will pass away. Fighting the system that raises the Beast isn't what the Lord called us to do. He called us to "go out into all the world and make disciples."

Neb, I'm not telling anyone to fight the system...... acthally you guys are by getting all worked up over politics. I've not told any of you to fight them, but to be sure that you don't inadvertantly become part of them, and that is going to be very easy for people to do. Maybe not you yourself but people who are not that familiar with the Word.... I don't disagree that we should be telling people to be ready and I think it's important to tell people what the dark side has planned, so they don't end up being part of it...... and you fight me every step of the way.

I know that the Fonz (Arthur Winkler in Happy Days) used to get upset when he heard anyone say this, but, ... SO?!

WHO CARES?!

If Yeshua` didn't even know the day or the hour when He would be returning, but only the Father knew, what makes you so sure that haSatan (Hebrew for "the Enemy") knows anything?! If Yeshua`s last words to His students were,

Acts 1:7-8

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

KJV

What makes you think it's so important for US to know? We just need to be about our Father's business and WATCH AND BE READY! Nothing else truly matters! As Paul said,

Rom. 14:7-9

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

KJV

Did he give that direction to every single one of us, or did he give different things to different people so they could watch and help others..... it may be your walk to do just what you say here, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to follow that same walk.....

The experiences that he let me fall into has helped other people to get out of the same situation I found my self in, and is the main reason I came to worthy in the first place. I've stayed because one of those four people I was sent to hold intercessory prayer for is still here........ and then there is the silly thrill of being last. and interfacing with friends..... but it was my experience with demonic darkness that mekes it possible for me to help others, and some of them are more than basket cases....... some so abused as children that they have no memory of anything in thier childhood prior to their teenage years....... Those people need more that just hearing the gospel for their inner self has been shattered into a dozen different people.

Don't worry about me and the darkness for it's my job to help others from that pit,

I've experienced that darkness and know it's feel, and I can tell you without any doubt that darkness is on the rise and I see people here preoccupied with things that really don't matter and I doubt seriously are spiritually ready for what's coming..... I'm trying to get all your attention to get yourself ready for the onslought of things that you can't imagine....... and fussing about who we're going to vote for next year really isn't on my agenda. Listening to people tell us about theings in some health care bill that I did bother to check out is a major distraction neb. There is a storm coming so large that one will have to have a firm grip on the Holy Spirit to survive, and I see people here who don't appear to be there and others who really have no clue as to the possibilities of what's coming.

Am I trying to scare people...... yeah I am, because I know from personal experience that a person by themselves has absolutely no hope whatsoever of withstanding what's coming, and without the Holy Spirit leading your iife every minute of every day..... there is no hope of escape.. You may well be in that position but there are many many people who read these boards that are not, and without someone pushing them a bit, they won't spiritually prepare for what's coming, because people have told them all they have to do to be saved is spout out he sinners prayer and nothing can happen to them........ and I know from personal experience that it isn't so..... it's going to take a very close personal walk to fend off what's coming. I think much of the Word is telling us not to be shallow Christians, and I don't see much of that happening anywhere...

It's getting late and I have to go,

other one, I stand with you in intercessory prayer on this matter.

Folks, we have to grow up into Christ. Terrible times are coming & we need to be so close to Jesus that He becomes our life. We need to put on the full armor of God & KNOW how to use it, to stand against the enemy that is going to be unleashed.

The Bible tells us that our fight is not with flesh & blood, but "against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (places of authority). (Ephesians 6:12) At this time, there are many people that have given themselves over to these powers of darkness & are being led by them to bring about terrible things. And just like us believers that have the Holy Spirit in us, these people have become 'filled' with some of these spirits. They are working tirelessly toward a specific goal & sad to say, are more aware of that plan than many Christians are of God's plan. satan does not change & he still wants to destroy mankind & keep us from God & be ruler on earth.

It is of utmost importance to the people of God to grasp what is happening & spiritually prepare for what is coming. Yes, God is with us & is in control, but I see this being like when the children of Israel finally crossed Jordan into the promised land--- God gave them victory, but they had to stand against the enemy & fight the battles.

If we are indeed the generation upon whom the end of the world has come, we need to be prepared to stand against the enemy & overcome. To God be the glory!

Ephesians 3:8-10~ Unto me (Paul) who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. Just a quick thought here. Some folks seem to be saying that we just need to focus on Jesus and not on what the enemy is doing. Certainly our first focus needs to be on the Lord. But what do you think about this verse from II Corinthians 2:11? ...so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs. ESV

Granted, the context of that verse is entirely different--it is speaking about the need to forgive each other. But Paul is certainly making a point there that we shouldn't be ignorant of what the enemy is doing because if we are we may "outwitted" by him. And it seems to me that point would transfer over into other areas, wouldn't it?

I definitely agree cherylu. The church as a whole needs more revelation in the fact that we are dealing with the supernatural realm daily, and the dark side of them are working against us & controlling many people that are in authority, either directly or indirectly.

You are misunderstanding the issue just as golddust is. You are trying to turn this into something having to do with demons/evil spirits. That is not the issue of this thread. We are talking about alleged doomsday prophecies that most people understand to be about the end of the world.

This is not about focusing on Christ at the expense of being knowledgeable about what the enemy is doing. It is about not getting caught up in the world's silly and rather stupid obsession about prophecy from pagan cultures.

When Christians talk about the end times we are mocked and ridiculed. The ONLY reason the world doesn't mock this is because it didn't come from us. There are lots of opporunists makeing a lot of money and I predict as the time gets closer and the hype hits a fevered pitch, we will see plenty more.

My comments about focusing on Jesus instead of worrying about ridiculous "prophecies" that contradict the Bible's end-time schedule.

Matthew 24:36

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

I have to wonder why God would reveal to Godless people all over the world the time of His return. Many of these who

claim He will return on 12/21/12 sacrificed their own children into a raging fire to appease their false god. Somehow this

does not ring true to me.

Sure, I grasp it! When the seventh messenger blows his shofar, there will be loud voices in the sky, saying, "The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our YHVH and of His Messiah, and He will reign forever and ever!"

Perhaps, the better question is this: What do YOU think you're seeing here? This is a fairly straight-forward verse of Scripture talking about the sure annexing of all the kingdoms of the world into the Messiah's Empire on behalf of YHVH His Father!

KatyAnn's pictures shows the limits of humans. They build structures which were grandiose at the time, but now are ruins and the memories of many people forgotten. This is valid for each one of us when we build our faith on human faith only because at the end that faith iis just like the Mayan ruins. Everyone that has accepted the Word of God has not to worry about ruins or end of the world as our faith is strong, just like nature which reclaimed the the ruins of the Mayan buildings.

Blessings

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
