Seriously, I was an unbeliever in 2008 and couldn't stand the thought of John McCain as president. I didn't know a whole lot about Obama, other than he had a magnetic personality and I bought in to his "we are the world" concept".

It's amazing what the Lord has done in my life over the past three years and the way He has opened my eyes to things.

Thanks for your response. Makes sense though. It stands to reason that your worldview should shift once you are Saved.

I couldn't stand the thought of John McCain as president either and I was a born again Christian. I knew though that a vote for Obama was outright dangerous and I was unhinged by the adoration and worship of the man who was seemingly unprepared for the job and not worthy of the worship and worse held to belief's that were downright un-American. He is distinctly and culturally un-American.

If I did indeed live in the USA - even tho I trsavel thru it constantly - I would never vote to elect perhaps the worst president America has ever had, indeed the first 17-Trillion dollar- (with a capital T. that is!) deficit president! In our books, he'd do much better as Head Honcho of, let us say, Iraq. Afghanistan or even Muhammad's birthplace of Saudi Arabia.

I'm glad you said that, amor. So many of my fellow Americans argue incessantly that Obama is a socialist. Not realizing that, in many other western countries, he is considered a moderate or even a conservative. I think they just don't realize that Obama is actually middle of the road.

I am saying this fairly far out, but at this point unless Republicans wrap it up quick and start showing unity of some kind this election is Obama's to lose with the attacks they've been throwing at each other.

Actually it doesn't show that he is middle of the road. It shows how far down the road and Left the rest of the Nations have become.
