I don't like questioning the validity of any verse, period.

If you question the validity of translation, then we opening Pandora's box, where any verse will be claimed tranlsted wrong, I heard it already.

I think the best thing to do when the verse is not clear is to research the word in the original language to gain greater understanding, languages ARE different and sometimes it IS hard to come up with exact word (I translated before). I also like to look it up in (Mathew Henry) commentary, to see what the scholars think of the word/verse, but to say the validity is questionable is misleading. Do you believe translating of the bible is also God inspired just like the writing of it? I do, because when I look at the bible in other languages they all say the same word for word, it is a miracle!

Time does not exist. Universe can exist without matter, it'd be just an empty universe, space IS required.

That is the reason I submitted the other translations, to show that they do not acknowledge the words, "three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one" as part of the Apostle John's writings.

After all, he is the one who recorded our Lord as saying, "If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book."

If Matthew Henry were to add something to scripture and a hundred years later, every bible was printing it, would that make it valid?? No, of course not.

Much like people who use their Schofield or Thompson Chain reference bibles and think all the printed words are true. They are not.

We must study, prove all things, rightly divide, and hold fast to what it true.

King James is nothing more than a translation of one language into another.

Yes, there are a couple of verses in the Bible that aren't included in the earliest and most reliable manuscripts. It usually will have a note in subscript at the bottom of the page mentioning that fact. Tatie-I'm sure if you checked your Bible you would see that. I do understand what you're saying about questioning the vadility of Bible verses. However, not all the manuscripts found of the Bible coincide. There is the occasional verse that we SHOULD question. We want God's word to be as reliable as possible!

I think it says "in the beginning" so that we can understand it. God is timeless! When we reach heaven, we will have no sense of time. Time is a man-made idea. Crazy to think about, isn't it?

Another man-made idea is time travel, men see "Time" like space - it could be changed, stopped, and traveled through, if we only had the technology to actually do it. This is false. Time is not like space and is not linear. "Time" is simply the Present which changes at a constant rate. We know that things happened before the present, but are not happening anymore (The Past), that's why the bible said "in the beginning".

Uni-verse is not mentioned in the bible.
