This discussion leads me to ask a question....how would you be able to tell if it was a "ghost" or a demon. I mean if the ghost looked like some one that you knew how would you know it was really them and not a demon. I'm wondering if asking them who they served would work or would they/could they lie about that? Could they lie and say that they served Christ?

What would be the purpose of interacting with these things? Bad enough if you happen to have a meeting you did not

plan but for some reason God allowed

What I do is just rebuke anything around me in Jesus' name that is not of God and tell it it is not welcome

If I have fear, I ask the Lord to rebuke it and send it away. I do NOT mess with them

I do not have regular occurrences of this type of thing but any time I have, there has been a reason for it...

either I have trespassed or someone else is trespassing

They can not tell you that Jesus is Lord and came in the flesh. As for lying, it was my experience toward the end of my involvement that they could not lie to you if you had invoked the name of the Lord in your question..... but that was a long time ago and a lot of that time period is still a bit fuzzy. Seeings that most of them are at least 5,000 years old and have been around for a long time, it's quite possible that they actually knew your parents cousins, grand parents and who knows how many generations past.

They are old and they are smart and they've had a lot of practice in messing with the human mind..... Just don't put anything past them. The only thing that you can be sure of is that they hate your guts....... to the core.

dank, dark and seriously old....smelling of death and rot and they would like to embrace you

They will suck the air out of your lungs, appear in any form as long as you have the fear

they need to appear in and will basically make you think God might not be there which

they love doing etc etc

I don't think demons are waiting in musky shabby run down places waiting to scare someone. Doesn't their Master give them orders to do, they are very busy.

I think they would monarchy, if doing so could draw people away from Christ. With that being said, I think a is just pranks, or even military experiments. Especially ww2 and the cold war era, where the US was trying to keep making new weapons, I can just see some mad scientist in a hidden lab beneath a old military wearhouse, testing out his new tractor beam on unsuspecting employees and people in the "haunted" warehouse above. And, if they think it was a ghost or demon, then mad scientist is off the hook LOL.

With that being said, I think demons can take on many forms-if they think they can do something to distract or deter people from Christ, then Im sure its not beneath them to appear as aliens, ghosts, genies, or even hide a few tools and fling tables around a room. While Im not afraid of demons in the least bit-and I take "demon stories" I hear with a grain of salt-I don't think its wise to discount their role in the world, because they are here.
