A good source to check if there are interactions between your prescription or over-the-counter meds and supplements is www.drugs.com.  I find the sight quite useful since I am forced to take a lot of medication.  Doctor's are not Pharmacists.  You need to be aware of what you're putting in your body.  Also provide a typed list for your primary care physician.  It could just save your life.

From my experiences over the last 9 years,  if it wasn't for me realizing the doctors didn't know what they were talking about, and looking for my own answers, and educating myself about herbal supplements and remedies, etc, I probably would be dead already.

God has allowed me to stumble on particular  herbal remedies and other supplements that have absolutely made things stop their fast downward spiral.   People need to educate themselves, and once they have done so, may actually end up better informed than their doctors on certain issues.   Fear stops people.  It is fear that needs to be conquered. The changes I have seen in the last 40 years in medicne have me shaking my head.   The Doctors who know how to practice the art of medicine are disappearing and dying off.  The ones who are replacing them have become more clinician than doctor.  If you don't fit in a nice neat box, you will be hard pressed to find a doctor who knows how, and cares, to think outside the box and look for actual answers.   This is where alternative medicine can really help those like me for which modern doctors they have access to have no answers.

Now this week one of my doctors tells me she wants to evaluate me for a fatal disease for which there is no cure or treatment.   All treatment is experimental.   At the same time I learned about this possibility, the supplement company I get my Niagen from announced it is coming out with a new product this week which might do the same thing one of the  newer promising experimental treatments being researched does for this disease.  This is an interesting coincidence if it is coincidence.  I don't believe in coincidences.
