I was listening to a Christian Radio Station that was interviewing a gentleman that has written a book about the Palestine situation and Arafat. He said that from information gathered from the Mosad (Israeli Intelligence) that Arafat was a pedophile and a homosexual. Guards were often seen ushering in small boys to Arafat's living quarters and that it was reported that Arafat could be heard in his bedroom making so much noise and romping around that the guards had to back off.

Arafat is also estimated to have skimmed off somewhere between $600 million to $3 Billion??? dollars during the time of his ruling over the Palestinians. Right now there is a battle by everyone including his wife over the money. She apparently had a stipend while living in Paris(?) of about $100,000 a week.

Well I guess he knows now what it is like to be "toast".

No kidding. DE, you can check out the thread I posted concernig the belief that Arafat died of AIDS. It is posted in the Israeli/Palestinian forum. It coincides with you are saying.

Dad Ernie, I saw a report a few years ago about Arafats private life and homosexuality and I read the post here on that subject. I hope he met Jesus before he died !!

"Yasser Arafat's widow, Suha, is expected to receive a sum of $22 million a year out of the Palestinian Authority budget, according to the Italian newspaper Corriere De La Serra.

The paper said Suha reached an agreement about the money during a meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, the PLO's newly elected chairman, who visited while she was staying next to her husband's bed in the French military hospital outside Paris.

It said Abbas personally promised Suha that she would receive $22 million a year to cover her expenses in Paris. The paper noted that in July Arafat transferred to his wife $11 million to cover her living costs for the first six months of the year.

Abbas and the Palestinian leadership were forced to strike the deal with Suha after she refused to allow them to visit her husband in hospital.

The Palestinian leaders reached the conclusion that it would be better to make a deal with her in order to solve the crisis surrounding Arafat's possessions and secret bank accounts.

According to Palestinian officials, the money that Suha is expected to receive will come from secret accounts held by Arafat and his cronies in various countries. They estimated that at least $4 billion were being held in these secret accounts."

I know Arafat is a horrible person who has committed terrible atrocities against so many but should we as christians be talking about him getting his just desserts kinda thing? Didn't Jesus die for him too? Is sin not all equal? Just posing some questions...nobody jump on me.

It's that Arafat has caused so much death and destruction in his lifetime that alot of people are happy to see him die. I can attest I will feel the same way when Bin Loser finally meets God and has to answer for his "works."

When 9/11 happened, it hit me hard. I wanted so much to feel glad that the hijackers met their fate in hell. I wanted islam destroyed..............

I knew that attitude was wrong, and I worked hard to overcome that. Without the Lord, I could not have done so. Yes, they have commited murder, and it is foul. No matter what they have done, our fates were the same without the Lord. I cant relish my salvation and relish their deaths, no matter what they have done. I doubt I could have been in their presence without feeling sick, but I still regret that they chose to live lives apart from the Lord. They need prayer to see Jesus, to know Him now just as much as my brother does.

I find my peace in that God is just... either a terrorist is now in hell or a repentant, forgiven, former terrorist is with the Lord. Which is more likely? I will just leave that one to God.
