Well, I  very much liked seeing the pictures again, and the whole thread has but a few posts, and a lot of new comers might never get to see Fez's posts.   And in my personal opinion it would be a shame.

OK. So Africa is a fantastic continent, but Africans (at the top) have made a mess of it.  And to claim that humanity had its origins in Africa is pure fantasy. And all talk about "African-Americans" is misleading. One is either an African or an American who happens to be black.

The wealth is still there, under the ground, on top of the ground and around the continent in the seas. Yet, it has either been exploited or ignored. Potentially the wealth is still accessible but it is in bad hands.

I guess I can see where you're coming from, O.O., with this particular thread and the pictures.  But most of the oldies really need to stay archived.

For a while we could not open old archived threads.....   I'm getting close to 25,000 posts again and every time I go over that we get a new software update and I usually loose 4 to 6 thousand posts and several things change......    maybe with the next one we won't be able to open the old threads.

I thought it was just me.  I lost at least twelve thousand posts during the updates.  Oh well, nothing like starting over.  I would like to see being able to go into ancient threads, read them and quote from them but not the ability to resurrect them.  At least those over two years old. Some are fourteen years old; there's no logic in bringing them back.
