This is something myself I never can seem to understand. I don’t think this is an easy question to answer but some may have better insight how and why all this works.

When Jesus returns God will place the Devil one thousand years in bounding him down. The Devil will not be seen for a thousand years. But at the end of the one thousand years he is yet released again for a short time then to be judged.  .

My question is when Jesus returns why doesn’t’ God begin Eternity? Why does there need to be another one thousand years?  If God locked up the Devil the first time why would God want to let him out again to try to cause another World rebellion? I don’t understand this because you would think once the tribulation is over Jesus reigns for one thousand years. Peace has been placed on Earth but now evil has yet to return. Why cant’ God conclude after this age beginning a New age that we need another thousand years and another time Satan should be let in the World?.  .

Does anyone here understand the reasoning of these things or any input one may believe why these things should happen?  Why another thousand years since Christ return everything should be justified? Would you think if everyone knows Jesus is now the Lord they should have no reason now not to do what is right with God? We are tested now God is invisible. Jesus would be visible right? Also what do you think Christians will be doing those brought back in the raptures to help rule and reign? . How do you suppose these people will be assigned doing what kind of things?

These are the questions about the end of the trib the beginning and the one thousand years of millennium mystery of things the second release of the Devil at the end. They purpose of these things of what should happen in those days?

Free choice;  those living and born during the 1000 years are still of the seed of Adam, they have the potential to sin or reject the truth.  Even with Christ ruling with a rod of iron for the 1000 years, many are doing lip service.  Who comes out of the 70th week?  People from every nation, tribe people and language.  All descendants from Adam, still in need of a Shepard.  Then Satan is released and able to tempt individuals as he did with Eve first and then Adam; but this time after the 1000 years is over.  Many, many follow Satan and then they are all destroyed.

I think the millenium of the 1000 yrs. will be considered a brand new age and a new way in which that God

will be testing again the people on the Earth.

For there was those who were brought unto Christ saved to be with him and to rule with him for that 1000 yrs.

It is also believed even by a Biblical scholar that I had read about there will still be people left on Earth who are not in the rapture

in which those people from the tribulation will enter into the New Millenium,

As you see they either didn't believe or they had some belief in God but were not worthy enough to be taken and to be a part of him.

It's perhaps these people will be tested to see if now they will be in Christ and follow him.

Even the children born to them would be tested. If they will obey the commandments of Jesus.

If there was a rebellion in heaven then I guess it's possible that the people who are in his presence can also resist but then

like the obedient angels of heaven who listened to God those people will be faithful to Jesus unto the end.

We should be reigning with Christ during this 1000 year period.  In what aspect, I do not know.

I suspect that during the Millennium, children will be born who have never experienced sin or temptation by the Devil. They will grow up to become parents and have children of their own and so on.... They will have to be tested too.

The Millennium reign appears to be on this Earth that we have now, but free from Satan and his demons.

The Bible says only the saints, who have been transformed to spirits from the first resurrection will be ruling with God on earth during the millennium - Rev 20:4,5

After the 1,000 years are finished the rest of the dead (all of mankind who ever lived in all of the past ) will be resurrected-this is the second resurrection.

People coming out of the great tribulation will now be entering into a thousand year period, the millennium, without the evil influences of Satan since he has been temporarily banished.

They will learn the true ways of God with prosperity and love abounding, but will still be mortal beings with human nature. The saints will be teaching and training those alive, and their children, and future generations God's way of righteousness and worship.

All those raised in the 2nd resurrection, after the 1,000 years, will have an opportunity for salvation and will see the right way of living according to God's laws but will be subjected to satan's evil influences after he is let loose for a little while. In Bible history God has always tested His people to see what is in their hearts.

The purpose of all this is to establish God's kingdom or government on earth and to give everyone whoever existed a chance for eternal life. They were learn what is right or wrong and afterwards be in the great white throne judgment where every person will be judged by their works Rev 20:11,12

And those not found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire.

Man started in the garden of Eden and is ending back in this new garden of paradise as spiritual children in God's family. This new world awaits us and whatever promises the universe has ready for us. It's all about choice.

All prophecy will have finally been fulfilled.

Hi bopeep,

The New Jerusalem is the existing Jerusalem that is restored in the restoration of all things. God will restore all things and Jesus will reign from the Jerusalem that we see in Israel today.

In Isaiah 65 there is a mention of a time in the future when one who dies at age 100 will be thought a mere babe insinuating about 1,000 years life span. This could be a millennium after the return of the Lord, but there is no time limit placed on it. It could be thousands or millions of years long for that matter. It cannot refer to heaven where there will be no death.

In Revelation 20 there is a millennium mentioned that could in fact refer to the Church age itself. Big dispute over that one.

With regard to the present Jerusalem being the New Jerusalem...

Galatians 4 (NIV)
21 Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says?
22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.
23 His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.
24 These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.
25 Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.
26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
27 For it is written: “Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”
28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
29 At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now.
30 But what does the Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”
31 Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

next 1,000 years God is still interested in saving more people into his Kingdom.

We know not all will be saved during that time. God and Magog in Rev.20 are there.

So its not really as some say Peace on Earth during this time.

The Devil is just being put out of  the church during that time but he is in the ungodly world.

Those who make in the Bride(kings and Priest) rule with Christ breaking down the kingdoms of this world - first by converting or destruction.

Revelation 2:26-27 (KJV)
26  And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27  And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

So Jesus will clean up the earth during that time and change it into a complete new earth and heaven(converted people).

Then the Holy City and God comes down from heaven.

God gets what he wants in his plan.

This is how I see it.

This is just a condense version of it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
