My last post is wrong. What I meant to say is that not all of those twelve tribes are the original twelve or something like that. What happened to the tribe of Levi? Help me out here someone. Isn't there a missing tribe who has been replaced?

Okay, fair enough. I realise that there are a lot of bad Jews in the World. Many of these are self-loathing Jews and they are even anti-Zionist, but these people are Jews in name only. Not only are they non-practising, they are often Atheists and they detest their own Jewish identity. God will deal with them in his own way.

 

 

 

I'm not sure why you would describe anti-Zionist Jews as "self-loathing".   Some would prefer to wait for Christ to gather them to Israel than participate in the earlier sinful gathering of Israel: Ezekiel 39:

 

25 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God.

 

Do you see the two periods of Israel:

 

1) BEFORE the Gog attack, Israel is shameful

2) After the Gog attack the Lord gathers ALL Israel, and pours out His spirit

 

I wouldn't judge those pure-hearted Jews who would rather wait for the Lord to gather them after the Gog attack, than support the current Israel who will be going into a shameful period of peace.

 

They wait for their true Messiah and so will not serve the coming false Messiah.

 

Hi Argosy,   before verse 27 in Ezekiel  39, there is the second feast of Ezekiel 39 in verse 17-20, which on the remains on the Armageddon carnage - which comes 7 years after the Gog carnage in Ezekiel 38:4 and cleanup the last verse of which is verse 16.

 

After the Armageddon carnage, Jesus has set his glory among the heathen, meaning he has returned to earth, Ezekiel 39:21 .

 

 

After the Gog attack, the Jews will think that the Antichrist is their promised King of Israel, son of David messiah.    They will embrace him as such, until he reveals himself as the man of sin, which they will reject him as their King and turn to Jesus instead.     The Antichrist in retaliation will persecute the Jews, as the Antichrist-beast in Revelation, until Jesus returns at Armageddon, bringing the Kingdom of God to this earth to have ruling dominion here for a 1000 years.

It appears you're mixing up the Gog/Magog Invasion with Daniel's 70th Week and Revelation.  For your scenario to have merit/support you would have to subscribe to The Gog/Magog Invasion kicking off Daniel's 70th Week (7 Years).....because you have the feast of beasts feeding on the Carnage @ Armageddon.  But that week begins with Confirming a Covenant.....Not a Nuclear Strike.

 

Ezekiel clearly is referring to the Gog/Magog Invasion as a Nuclear Strike.  Can you show, other than the parallel of Beasts Feeding (See Compare and Contrast below), anything in Revelation that even remotely resembles these Ezekiel Passages?  Remember also in Revelation, the Carnage that those beasts are feeding on are the results of Christ's Second Coming where he "treadeth the winepress".

 

Where is:  satan/ac/ False Prophet/Mark of the beast/ Martyrs/2 Witnesses/Mystery Babylon/ Babylon Proper/Tribulation Saints/ 144,00 Sealed/7 Churches/ Seals/Trumpets/Bowls/Locusts/ signs in sun/moon/stars/heaven et al in Ezekiel??

 

There are quite a number of other issues but we can start here for now.

 

 

I do believe that Psalm 83 clearly has to occur before the Gog/Magog Invasion and Daniel's 70th Week will occur sometime after the Gog/Magog Invasion.

 

 

Comparison (beast feasts)...

(Ezekiel 39:17-20) "And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.  {18} Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.  {19} And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.  {20} Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD."

 

 

There are quite a number of similarities and just as many differences.  The Big One that stands out to me is "great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel"....Because Armageddon is in a Valley (Valley of Jezreel).  Also, When the LORD returns it appears he Will First return to Bozrah (Sheepfold)-------Petra Today.....

 

(Isaiah 63:1-6) "Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.  {2} Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?  {3} I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.  {4} For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.  {5} And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.  {6} And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth."

 

Which Speaks to....

 

(Jeremiah 46:10) "For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates."

 

That most definitely relates to...

 

(Revelation 19:15-16) "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.  {16} And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Well obviously Ezekiel isn't gonna say "Nuclear Strike"    but there are clues....

 

(Ezekiel 38:19-20) "For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;  {20} So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground."

 

(Ezekiel 38:22) "And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone."

 

This looks like a Nuclear Exchange with the Isle's...

 

(Ezekiel 39:6) "And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD."

 

(Ezekiel 39:11) "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon–gog."

(Ezekiel 39:14) "And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search."

 

These look like NBC (Nuclear/Biological and Chemical) Specialists

 

(Ezekiel 39:15) "And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon–gog."

 

This is saying that when people travel through the land not to touch it they might find but "Mark It" for Burial (See NBC Specialists above)

You list 12 tribes. The 144,000 are found in Rev 7 and 14.

Do you see any discrepancy between you list and that of Revelation?

What confuses me is from where these questions come? Where does the idea of angels from Heaven come from on the 144,000? I am unaware of any issue of raising families in the text.

Salvation? For Israel that would mean receiving all the things God has promised them as listed in the New Covenant (Jeremiah 33). There is a national salvation for Israel prophesied at Christ's return to take over earth. Salvation means first a transformation from sinner to child of God, then eternal life; for Israel also the Davidic Covenant. See Romans 9-11, Joel 2, Zechariah 13-14, and Ezekiel 37.

No I don't think meteor showers ect.  The: Downwind, "Clean up", Professionals, and The "Marking" for the Professionals to take care of, Rule Out a Celestial Type Event.

 

As I mentioned, Psalm 83 must take place first then Gog/Magog......this then sets up absolutely "Perfectly" for...... Daniel's 70th Week.  Israel and the World will be Falling on their Necks for Peace!!

 

Something interesting  .... it appears "The Church" may be Raptured before Psalm 83 (Much less anywhere near Daniel's 70th Week).....

 

(Psalms 83:1-3) "Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.  {2} For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.  {3} They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones."

 

"thy people" = Israel

 

"thy Hidden Ones" =  "The Church"
