I do think He would look Middle Eastern too.  Anyway, it will not matter to me what He looks like, I would imagine a brilliant glow/light that emanates immense LOVE, JOY & PEACE

He grew up before him like a tender shoot,

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

So an image was put in my mind recently, call it a vision or divine thinking or mabe it was just a figment of my imagination who knows?

Your words suggest that you are totally not responsible for seeing what you say you saw.   You have a way of expressing yourself that tends to belie the words you write

to deny claiming you saw a vision or that in any way whatsoever you would think yourself a seer.

Revelation describes Jesus.  Your vision, or whatever it was/is, does not.

I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man,d dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

A little discernment would go a long way here IMO

Ummm I never said this was a vision. I have met him before but i cannot remember what he looked like even though I saw him clear as day when I met him

Your words carry an awful lot of weight ...  I, for one, do not give credit to your daily visitations and things you see or things that have been put into your mind, as being from the Holy Spirit

Either these things are from God or they are not from God.  If they are not from God, then you should disavow them and if they are only your imagination, they are part of your thought

processes and you should know the difference.

As you constantly tell us that you do not know the difference between your imagination or a foreign entity PUTTING things into your mind, I would suggest that you ask God for some

discernment because we are to be in CONTROL of our thoughts and not in some state that we do not know how it is we are seeing what we see.

There is no reason on this earth that God would put things into a person's mind that serve no purpose and that are not a true picture of Jesus as He is described in the Bible.

Thats twice I have heard His eyes are blue.

Where did you hear that from?On speculation I would think that Jesus would look like the typical Middle Eastern. And that sure is not blue eyes.

his eyes were like blazing fire.

They could be any color.....talking about the color of Jesus eyes is just nonsense...sheer nonsense and I would agree with what you post BoPeep

If a person wants to imagine, that is one thing, we can all do that, but the Bible really paints a very different picture of what Jesus looked like...including the verse

He grew up before him like a tender shoot,

and like a root out of dry ground.

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,

nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

Isa 53:2

From Omegaman in post 15...doesn't anyone pay attention to what scripture says rather than postulating when the Bible tells us how it is?

I guess we have all seen those paintings where Jesus is pictured with long flowing hair....yet, read what Paul wrote about a man's hair...kind of doesn't make sense IMO that

people would paint Jesus with long hair when Paul said it was a shame for a man to have long hair

Just sayin

The paintings of Jesus could not resemble Him at all.

When Jesus walked on the earth, He was not recognized for who He was.  As mega provided scripture that "He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him"  Now who He is to each of us personally is completely different.  So . . .  does what he looked like in the flesh matter?  I wonder how many of us would have recognized Him if we had been alive back then?

It does matter to me in the least what He looked like.He is my Lord and my Savior.

I dont know what a seer is but whatever it is im probably not one im just a simple person no one special now as for if I am responcible for the image i saw here is how I see it- i believe God can speak to in many ways and what this was is most likely that because my imagination is not capable of creating an image that beautiful. I saw something beautiful that touched my heart and I wanted to share so maybe it would touch others thats all this is

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
